Here is what Sarah Palin said on the Facebook page where she depicted Gabrielle Giffords in the cross hairs of a rifle scope: "Don't retreat! Instead - RELOAD!"
Well, the guy who shot Giffords yesterday managed to keep firing until he killed six, including a child, and wounded 13 .
Palin would no doubt say that she was only speaking in metaphor, that she only meant her followers should work to unseat Giffords and 19 other Democrats who had roused her ire by voting for health care.
But anyone with any sense at all knows that violent language can incite actual violence, that metaphor can incite murder. At the very least, Palin added to a climate of violence.

DAILY KOS -
2010 will be primary season

....Who to primary? Well, I’d argue that we can narrow the TARGET LIST (my caps) by looking at those Democrats who sold out the Constitution last week.
I’ve bolded members of the BLUE DOGS (my caps) for added emphasis.
Giffords, Gabrielle (AZ-08)
Not all of these people will get or even deserve primaries, but this vote certainly puts a BULLS EYE (my caps) on their district. If we can field enough serious challengers, and if we repeat the Donna Edwards and Joe Lieberman stories a few more times, well then, our elected officials might have no choice but to be more responsive...

kos listed Gabrielle Giffords as a bulls-eye target.
“This administration has been looking for excuses to unleash the Dept of Homeland Security onto the citizens of this nation and it seems like it is starting to build.”
I would love to say you are overreacting and are being paranoid, but unfortunately I can’t say that, because I am afraid you are absolutely right.
They want none but progressive candidates. Since when were they interested in the Constitution one might wonder.
LAME. Literally *no one* would have marked that difference *until now*.
I THOUGHT those symbols on the Tea Party map didn’t look like gunsight targets. So, it’s surveyors symbols . .
Obama’s “they bring a knife to a fight, we bring a GUN,” is about as graphic as you can get. - I’m very tired of the MSM pulling this sort of stuff, giving him a continual pass on any comment he makes. Even if he is a CHICAGO THUG, it’s inexcusable. He is the President of the United States!
Just voted, and it’s now 73% “yes” to 27% “no”. Of course, they don’t give the number of votes.
Journalism is truly dead.
Last night, that idiot Sheriff from Pima County continuously made references to the “vitriol” and “bigotry” from “certain radio and TV personalities”.
And not one “journalist” asked: “Who?”
Not one bothered to ask what he meant when he said that Arizona had become a “Mecca for bigots”.
The guy is a buffoon.
Unfortunately, it’s not just the NY Daily News. Major outlets including CNN and Yahoo are pushing this same garbage. There is no evidence that the shooter was exposed to the map with the alleged crosshairs. NONE! The SRM is fabricating a story to fit its purpose. That is all. Journalism in America died with this president.
I fired off an email to FOX last night about it. I was really pissed.
Pure lying propaganda. We all know damn well they know this shooter was a loony leftie.
Gifford voted AGAINST Pelosi for minority leader.
Survey symbol, not rifle scope crosshairs.
Nothing is building - this is just the same left wing nuts projecting their hatred for freedom-loving Americans. If you can count on one thing from the left, it is that they'll always, always, ALWAYS blame conservatives for their own inept actions.
Anybody with half a brain knows that this idiot liberal perpetrator caused this all by himself. If there's an accomplice, it sure as he!! ain't a patriot or a conservative.
The fact that this guy's a leftie doesn't sit well with the ruling elite, which is why they jumped into "blame the conservative" mode almost immediately. Kind of like when Bloomberg (another liberal) tried to claim that the attempted bombing in New York last year was the result of some disgruntled person upset about Obamacare. When it turned out to be one of their favorite people, they shut up quickly. They'll do the same thing here.
If Sarah Palin gave marching orders to take out targets (which she would likely NEVER DO), you can bet that the toll would be thousands of times higher, and the targets would be a little farther to the left.
Fact is, this woman voted against Pelosi and that ticked off at least one of the more unstable progressive disciples to the point that he took action. The result was tragic, but predictable.
Send that to Beck and Limbaugh!
Let’s not forget Rahm Emanuel standing up at some Clinton function and stabbing a knife into a table screaming “Dead, Dead, Dead”, in reference to his political opponents.
Also, was there a Target store anywhere near by? Obviously that could have contributed as well. /s
I am not normally a conspiracy theorist, but the timing of this events invites questions.
The left-wing media are masters at using such events to shape public opinion, and I'm certain they are working even now to make this one fit their template.
Of course he’s a lefty. I could tell that just by looking at his age. Seriously, how many 22 year olds are conservatives? For every 22 year old conservative, there’s another 3 who are lefties. They don’t start becoming conservatives until they get jobs and have to pay taxes for a few years.
Sounds like defamation to me. I hope Sarah brings legal action to bear on this.

After reading the WashPost article, I am convinced this is thug activity, activating the "community" to respond. But, there were bricks thrown through windows and doors all over the country, and I think they are left-wing bricks. Obama and crew are determined to create an "event" to trigger a massive armed response to a created problem. Tin foil hat not necessary!
The snooze is not what it once was, not by a long shot.
