Not that I would ever defend Obama personally, but that’s not the way he presented it; he stated that they’d gotten word that shortly after he had visited her room, that she opened her eyes. He never said that she did it while he was in the room.
Thats your take. I heard him, and I think in his mind he is the Messiah.
I found the whole thing to be disgusting.

One of the many good things from having a free and independent blogosphere, talk radio, and Fox News is that there was no way that Obama could have done what Clinton did in the wake of the Oklahoma City bombing and blame the right. The aforementioned 3 refused to allow the MSM’s accusations to go unchallenged. By the time of this memorial, Obama’s hands were tied. If he had come even close to parroting the MSM’s insane accusations, he would at best have been branded a fool and at worst vilified. This is one of the rare instances where there was a disconnect between the MSM and most of the liberal politicians. Wisely most lib pols decided to stand back and let the MSM fight and lose this battle on their own.

I haven’t read the reactions yet- haven’t even turned on the tv so I don’t know what the pundits are spouting. I found the audience reactions alarming. We hold nothing sacred. Regardless of whether it was mostly college students or “adults” doesn’t even matter. What I saw was several thousand utterly self-indulgent citizens who simply could not RESTRAIN themselves.

We had to turn it off after just a few minutes. The applause breaks and screams from the audience angered and embarrassed us. The Obama’s take every thing to the lowest level. They are classless people who are turning American society into a hip hop culture with no moral base.
