I have posted a couple of times on the canteen threads.
I suppose I should do it more ... but when I think of you folks who serve us, I get a tightness in my throat. I have such an appreciation of your sacrifice.
I go to places online where I see the military maligned and I contain my rage because people are stupid.
And when I see a canteen thread, I often think, “There’s not enough I could say to express my appreciation.”
It would just seem trite.
There really IS NOT ENOUGH I can say to express my appreciation to you all.
I just want to share this tonight. And I say, thank you.
He watches over you.
You would be proud of me..
With my very own , 2 dainty hands, I replaced the belt on the vacuum cleaner.
I didn’t even know they had belts.
HiYa TAZ, HUGS.
I did say , Hi, to you.
Yeah, but you didn't say hi to me FIRST!!..:=)
With all my critters...not having a working vacuum is a crisis.
Well, good evening, Winstons Julia...thanks for stopping in and helping honor our troops, veterans, families, and allies.
Any further progress on buying the mansion?
Please don’t thank ME.
As I said ... I see these threads and think of family that serves and friends who serve and I just get choked up.
We have volunteers. People who say, “Take me.”
It just blows my mind. There’s no possible way to express how grateful I feel to be kept free by people who volunteer to keep me safe.
It’s like being in the presence of such greatness.
Americans from all walks of life choose to serve...and the pay ain’t great.
It’s really an HONOR to post on the thread.
The country estate is currently being held up by the bank.
Jr. Lien holder is trying to play hard ball by loosing paperwork..
Ah yes, China Lake, my old stompin and soring grounds.
Best Airspace for testing in the US. Truly a National Treasure.
Also, a great place to raise your kids, or leave them while you go to Iraq for a year.... :)
Oh yeah, the best dirt bike riding in the country.
There was snow falling when I hit the sack last night...All melted when I got up today.
Night time temps are cold .
Have to go a bit north for frost bite.
Good evening, Taz...((HUGS))...a full complement tonight? Still cold?
Did your Monday go better than mine?
