THe liberals socialist elites, in their haste to take over this country, have woken a sleeping giant.

If they had been willing to be more patient, biding their time, they may have eventually accomplished what they wanted.

They turned up the heat too fast and the frogs noticed.

I hope this lawsuit names Janet Napolitano. As the former governor without a clue on border security she needs to be spanked. Hard. With a hickory paddle.

Why do I get the feeling that you have nekkid pix of Janet Napolitano?

Florida's ruling against Obamacare was Fort Sumter.

Here is to hoping that Arizona gives King Obama his very own version of Gettysburg.

Possibly not. Read Article IV, Section 4 of our Constitution.

“Will this be our Ft. Sumter?”

My exact thought. Zero suing over SB1070 was the first shot. Arizona has returned fire.

Actually my comment was not so much in Arizona’s court challenges with the law ans I was Øbongo’s callous disregard for adhering to it.

Excellent. California, Texas, and New Mexico have standing to do the same. Actually all the states do for a couple of the charges.

I just bought one of those Waring Theater style popcorn makers for the fun of it all. We have our movie nights around here with the old movies on video, so thought I’d get it.

I’ll try it out tonight, and see if it works for Free Republic watching too. ;)

But you forget that the judicial branch has no way to enforce its decrees. It relies on the executive branch to do that WILLINGLY.

I’d go for Christie/ Brewer in a heartbeat—tackling the budget and the border—a great team!

Technically, as I read the Constitution, Arizona can use an army to repel an invasion or danger that the Fed is not effective to respond to.

Now that would get their attention.

Art I, Sec 9: "No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any Duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay.
