I will never vote for Donald Trump

Posted on 04/08/2011 8:42:17 PM PDT by Jean S

Good grief people! Too many are jumping on the Trump bandwagon solely because of the Obama birth certificate.

Do you really want this man as your next president?

I think Trump’s life is pretty much an open book, we already know his warts.

A one-time wealth tax on wealth over 10 million.

Still not my favorite idea, but I believe the original idea was to balance it with a complete and total repeal of the death tax.

The one good thing about it would be that it would force tax-dodging, high-wealth but low taxable income liberals like Warren Buffett to finally pay some taxes.

“so far the only ones who have them are Palin, Bachmann,”

but so far nothing from them about the encroachment on our Constitution that is the acceptance of an apparent non-citizen as our Chief Executive.

Although I am willing to wait and hope they come out with it.

Anyone not willing to bring this up is a chicken and a “know-nothing,” I have lost patience with them.

“if the economy stays in the dumps, it will be a winning issue for him.”

I agree with you. Properly or not, it is my opinion that Americans see the Donald as an economic winner. And that is what people want right now, more than anything.

He could win.

I don’t believe that the Donald has a chance, but, if by some miracle he gets the Republican nomination, I will not vote. Let the chips fall were the may.

Here’s my theory:

Bill Clinton is the one who has the goods on Obama, and there are powerful interests in the Democratic Party that wouldn’t mind seeing Obama out of the picture.

Clinton and Trump had a little meeting, where Clinton revealed what he knows about Obama. There the plan was hatched.

Maybe there’s nothing to it, but stranger things have happened.

Well Trump has plenty of those too, I’m sure.

I also think he is smart enough to delegate and to appoint competent people to run DHS, the Treasury, the State Department, etc. as opposed to the gang of traitors and revolutionary commies running the show now.

I want someone with cajones, so far the only ones who have them are Palin, Bachmann, and now Trump.

He’s not running for president. He’s running for Donald Trump.

At least Trump is NOT a professional politician.
That puts him head and shoulders above the most of that gaggle.
After what I have seen the past week, I guarantee I will never vote for one of the “Pros”.

He’s not running for president. He’s running for Donald Trump.

We shall see, but if he's really serious about being President, what is his personal gain?

While he may not be ideal, he is definitely the best option we have. Gingrich and Romney are barely better than Hillary, and I trust them even less than Donald. People like Bachmann and Cain are fantasyland. Palin, though I respect her more than any other politician in my lifetime (including Reagan), is simply unelectable. 60+% of the population dismisses her out of hand. If they merely hated her, feared her, or disliked her, she would have a chance — but she simply cannot win with the majority of people seeing her as something frivolous. (It’s a shame, and I hate saying that, but that is the way it is).

Trump has the courage of his convictions, is generally correct on the issues, seems to care about this country, and, most importantly, would be one of the most feared and effective presidents in recent history.

He is a heck of a lot better than any other realistic alternative.

You are wrong! Birther issue is not why I am sold on Trump.
My reasons for putting him near top of my list are:
> His stance on China. This issue has cost us millions of jobs.
> His stance on OPEC. The soon to be $5 gas will put the final nail on the economy.
> He has survived in hard knocks of real world business.
> He is not afraid going against PC.
> He is articulate in debating media & does not look like deer in the headlights when attacked.

I might if he promises to keep his Barbie wife in the closet. She creeps me out...I just cannot imagine her as FLOTUS.
