The Donald is Ross Perot in sheep's clothing.

Remember when Freepers were drooling all over Scott Brown? Lessons learned.

If it’s too good to be true, it ain’t.

I feel Ross Perot is largely responsible for the events of the last 10 years.

the Great one should run for the office himself if he wants a "conservative" in there. He's voted for Rinos too so he's not pure- That's what his and our party has given him (and us) as choices. maybe some of these radio guys should shut up and run. and any non-career politicians wanting to run is a good thing in this climate of career ruling classers on both sides governing, um, ruling..

Levin is correct. He knows too, while he won't discuss it, that Trump's supposed questions about Obama’s eligibility are phony. Trump, as does every U.S Senator, because every one signed Senate Res. 511, including Obama, that to be a natural born citizen requires being born of citizen parents. There is no doubt that Trump is a bright guy. He as his legal staff close by. He may even be working with Obama, and may know that there are personal documents ready in case they are needed by Obama, in case he is in a close race, or a race he can turn by embarrassing his opponent.

“My assumption and my understanding is that if you are born of American parents, you are naturally a natural-born American citizen,” Chertoff replied. “That is mine, too,” said Leahy.”

There is no doubt about our Senators. The statement above is from the Congressional Archives, 30 April 2008. There are more. What's more, they are correct, at least about what they chose to address. Here is one of twenty or so statement by authorities we can believe, this by Chief Justice Morrison Waite from Minor v. Happersett, 1874:

“The Constitution does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners.”

This is the clarity you should demand of truth, and of Trump. He pursues the wild geese knowing it will lead nowhere. The truth is not so simple; it requires reading and trusting our supreme court justices, our founders and framers. But Barack Obama never told us he is a natural born citizen. Believe him. He said “I am a native born citizen of the U.S.” Barack is an attorney. He cited, exactly, the Title 8 definition for a 14th Amendment Citizen; a citizen born of a citizen mother and an alien father. The 14th Amendment never mentions natural born citizenship. But its author, Congressman John Bingham did, in his address to Congress, to the House, explaining the meaning of the 14th Amendment. Here is is explanation, from the Globe, the House Archive for 1866:

I find no fault with the introductory clause [S 61 Bill], which is simply declaratory of what is written in the Constitution, that every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty is, in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural born citizen….

We are being taken for fools. There is no argument about the truth of what I've said. If Trump claims to be addressing eligibility, but doesn't mention the most important facts absolutely demonstrating Barack’s ineligibility, he is playing us for the fools we appear to be - and probably working for the left, as his support for Rahm Emanuel seems to indicate.

All that matters is the economy. Whatever shape your yearnings for a free America take, step number one is the economy.

I believe Trump is a liberal mole inside our party. I think he’s a plant to bring down the Tea Party.

Watch the movie, “Stalig 17,” and you’ll understand just how the Nazis infiltrated the gulags during the war. I have a sick feeling that Trump is a mole inside our Stalig

I’d like to know who Donald Trump has made the “deal with” to be a spokesperson for conservatives. He’s a lefty spouting right-wing talking points. He’s a wolf in sheepskin.

I read recently that Trump will run as an Independent if he does not win the nomination, He also voted for and loved B-HO he knows that third party is a Guarantee loser for Republicans, makes me think he is working with B-HO. Say what Republicans want to hear, get their support, run third party B-HO wins

I question Levin’s conservatism

When someone brags about “I got Bill Clinton’s law license revoked”...yet....attacks Birthers who want Obama’s Long Form BC released...and refuses to aid Birthers with this “Landmark Legal Foundation”....that is not conservative.....that is helping Obama

Levin is being a wuss...and a Liberal.

As for Trump being the next “Ross Perot”...sounds like the GOP and the liberal GOP Media is already planning another Liberal RINO to run against Obama in 2012. Sounds like Levin is helping get a RINO elected in 2012

If Donald Trump sounds more conservative than the potential Liberal RINO field.....it is the Liberal RINO field that is too Liberal

Trump could be the upcoming season's Perot, but only if the republicans run yet another rino/moderate.

The line between the demonrats and rinos is gone and with it, the distinction between the GOP and the Democrats. It's not like when Reagan said he didn't leave the democrat party, the party left him, it's worse. BOTH parties have left us.

Trump fills a void, same as Perot did. This is the message sent to the rinos when they lost their majorities. This is the message of the TEA party.

This is the wave the rinos road back into office in 2010 and now act like that vote was for them and MORE of the same.

The GOP is obsolete. A capon. They had better get back to principles or they'll be cast aside.
