Donald Trump's dished dollars to Clinton, Rangel, Kerry, Reid, Lautenberg, Schumer and more Dems
NY Daily News ^ | 4/17/11 | ALISON GENDAR

Tea Party darling and "birther" blowhard Donald Trump hasn't always put his money where his mouth is: The Donald has splashed campaign cash on a "Who's Who" who's who of liberal pols.

Trump shot to the top of GOP presidential polls by embracing debunked conspiracies about President Obama's birthplace — but he repeatedly has opened his fat checkbook for a slew of Democratic stars, a review by the Center for Responsive Politics found.

The all-time apple of Trump's eye is beleaguered Harlem Rep. Charlie Rangel, the once powerful once-powerful ex-head of the tax-writing Ways & Means Committee — and a GOP bogeyman.

The casino king has pumped $24,750 into Rangel's war chest.

New York's Democratic senators also have pocketed payouts from Trump.

Reagan, Carter, Thurmond - isn't donations made in the 1970s and early 1980s stretching it a bit? I am interested in what candidates, causes he donated to in the last 15 years.

Right now, Obama’s poll numbers are abysmal against:

1. Republicans
2. Independents
3. Whites
4. Men
5. Seniors
6. Married Women with children

For all intents and purposes, Obama is not re-electable and he knows it and the Democrat party overlords know it too.

Hitlery isn’t going run, either. She’s wants to get the hell out and settle down with Huma.

This Trump thing appears to be a Soros deal to me, with Trump as as Trojan Horse to infiltrate the GOP and Tea Party.

If anything, Trump is following in Palin’s footsteps.

You are correct. He's trying to draw the TP attention to himself.

He is doing some things a true Republican should be doing but he’s not doing it for a good reason.

Bingo.

Donald Trump’s major field of endeavor as a businessman was real estate. The politicians in his almost totally Dem city of New York City, and any other NY pol, can be either major impediments to his real estate empire or at least neutral if not positive. Trump is a smart man. He contributed to grease the skids or at least not have his business empire attacked and/or ruined. Bank financiers and other CEO’s of large businesses do the same thing because and they are constantly giving to both sides because they never know when the worm will turn and a different political Party is suddenly in control. You would be an idiot, if you want to survive in big business to do otherwise. Especially if you have a high profile business. For example, look what trouble Walmart has had constantly by pols and interest groups trying to do them harm. Considering that, I find it quite brave of Trump to come out now with what I believe he truly in his gut feels are in his nation’s interests. He knows that he will be attacked from all sides, including by many Freepers, and yet he has come out publicly with stated conservative positions on the future of capitalism, trade issues, border issues, abortion, gay marriage (dosn’t want it), etc. Trump is getting flak from everywhere, yet he is persisting. I admire the man. He’s going where few are willing to go, in spite of the slings and arrows thrown his way.

And for those of you who want to make some kind of Trojan Horse out of Trump, just start watching some of the Dem propaganda stations on TV and the MSM in the print. They are in the process of trying to ruin this man big time. I’m watching while typing this, Reliable Sources on CNN as they are trying their best to destroy Trump’s reputation. I’d take Trump over most lily livered limp wristed candidates out there, many in the Pub Party. Let Trump do what Trump is doing best right now, being vocal and speaking to issues where few others are willing to go.

Don’t understand Trump?

He’s a philosophical conservative but also a tremedously successful businessman that must negotiate the liberal waters to succeed.
It’s called BUSINESS.
He is savvy...he knows where the powerbrokers are.
He plays the game...he has never been a politico, now he might be. But that’s why he is fresh.

What you should be acutely aware of is the counter offensive going on with the liberal establishment in touting these dem contributions over and over—they want more than anything for conservatives to become aghast in moral outrage and turn a deaf ear to Trump.

They know that conservatives, with their purist litmus tests are very easily played.

They have used our pollyanna sensibilities, ie, WE CONSERVATIVES (puffed up chests) can NEVER stoop so low as to manipulate, we must ALWAYS show our cards and be forthright yada, yada—and they’ve nailed us over and over.

It’s like expecting the Taliban to engage in some kind of code of honor.

Like it or not, it is a vicious dog eat dog world out there.

How about we play savvy for once?

He is a successful businessman, wheeler-dealer, and promoter. He is also a loyal American and a generous philanthropist. His current situation will end up serving one or more of those aspects. Other than that it is anybody’s guess.

Who cares what his angle is? He’s a lying liberal scammer. That’s all anyone needs to know. He’ s entertaining. He’s also a joke. And anyone who falls for it should be ashamed.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Ladies and gentlemen, Obama is America’s first communist president.

We The People are awake. We will no longer be misled by office-holding criminals. We will not elect a one-trick circus-clown president or RINOs again to office in 2012.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Obummer is not so much a communist but a clueless
incompetent populist who got power on an expectation of ‘change’ within a society.

You can bite me guys but I see no difference between Trump and Obama.

In 2008, Obummer took advantage in lack of public confidence with Bush.
Trump is doing same right now on Obama’s faults.

It is very likely if he is a part of leftist conspiracy to split conservative votes.

Seems like it is a South America or Eastern Europe right now.

Should Tea Partiers just go ahead and get under the bus or wait for Trump to throw them under it?

Trump knows there is a sucker born every minute. His brand of hucksterism seems to appeal to the weak minded.

Since we have an assortment of hucksters on our side, he’s the perfect venue for their brand of so called ‘conservatism’.

Count me out.

Soros has thrown Obama under the bus and Trump is his new operative.

We need to be very careful.

Soros and Trump know that The Kenyan will not be relected because of Hussein’s standing with Independents, Whites and Seniors.

We need to be very careful about this Trump deal because he’s not working for us. He’s working for Soros.

After you read this book, you will better understand what his “game” is. Donald Trump may just be the exact person that America needs at this time in history.

So true. Ten yrs ago I would not have been in his corner but today we need the strongest candidate to rid us of the worst prez ever. Give him 4 yrs to fix whatever he can & then Palin can come in.

She hasn’t been grandstanding for quite awhile until yesterday when she blasted the bad guys including the GOP bad guys. Haven’t heard that level of volume from her for awhile. I think she’s had some bad advice, similar to what Reagan had to deal with, and I hope she stops listening to it and takes it to them loud and clear the way she’s done in the past and the way Trump has recently.

If you think borrowing so much money from banks that you are too big to fail, therefore, you get undeserved bailouts, then Trump is your guy.

His business dealings in NY are notorious. He borrows huge sums of money from banks. When he can’t pay them back he forces them to renegotiate his deals. The bank loses, Trump wins.

Just what we need, NY mobster style dealings to take on Chicago thug style dealings.

If there’s one executive who knows how to manage and thrive in nearly-overwhelming debt, it’s Donald Trump.

How about we play savvy for once?

You and I don't really know Trump's game and we don't really know the depth his Soros connections. Being savvy is not being so fast to jump on the Trump bandwagon.
