Thanks for the details. It’s a head-scratcher. She certainly has taken a lot of abuse for the decisions we support; one would’ve thought she could handle this one, too. I don’t know enough of the legalities to begin to guess what she’s being told by advisers and “advisers”.

Verification TO the Secretaries of State is the responsibility of the DNC and RNC. Those entities present to each state a signed and notarized document which verifies the nominees meet the eligibility requirements as set forth in the Constitution.

In 2008 Pelosi had two options: (1) lie; (2) omit from the verification document the ‘as set forth in the US Constitution’ phrase that the nominee [Obama] met the eligibility requirements.

It’s been reported that Hawaii [2008] refused to allow Obama’s name on their ballot because he [purportedly] couldn’t/wouldn’t present proof of natural born citizenship. The DNC then omitted the ‘as set forth in the US Constitution’ phrase from the verification document, and his name went on the ballot.

IIRC, the DNC verification presented to Arizona contained the full phrase. That would mean Brewer accepted the word of the DNC/Pelosi that Obama met the eligibility requirements stated in Article II, Section 1.

I’m not a lawyer, and didn’t sleep at a Holiday Inn Express, so take as my uneducated guess that Brewer would have no liability in regard to placing Obama’s name on the ballot. It seems logical that she - or any other secretary of state - should reasonably be able to trust that the DNC document states the truth about nominees’ eligibility.
On the other hand - Pelosi’s signature is alone reason enough to foster suspicion.

Do you know if the Louisiana bill gives people legal standing to challenge eligibility? The AZ move to specifically allow state legislators to have standing is important also, if that ensures that a political-activist and/or bribed judge can’t keep discovery of the transaction logs from happening.

Copy of the Louisiana Bill Here. Could not see a 'standing' part, but it's late here. . . Will review again in the morning. . . Something every day. . It is down to "We the People." . .

Right now we have no Constitutionally-functioning legislative, executive, or judicial branch, and a treasonous media. What we have to defend the Constitution with is you and me. Period. We the people are the last line of defense because all the infrastructure has become a criminal enterprise - and I do not say those words lightly. I mean every word of it, based on what I have seen and can document.

Amen to that. Concord and Lexington tomorrow: "The Battles of Lexington and Concord were the first military engagements of the American Revolutionary War.[9][10] They were fought on April 19, 1775, in Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, within the towns of Lexington, Concord, Lincoln, Menotomy (present-day Arlington), and Cambridge, near Boston. The battles marked the outbreak of open armed conflict between the Kingdom of Great Britain and its thirteen colonies in the mainland of British North America."

Butter,

Not sure if you saw this previous thread from last week. See post #14 from that thread.

This is the one issue that Soros’ thugs threatened the media on. The connections to terrorism, etc... all fine to talk about. But the one issue they threatened to annihilate the media companies in retaliation if they reported on it... was the eligibility issue.

Some links about that:

This is why this is not really even about Obama. It’s about the lawlessness and crimes committed to cover for Obama. The people in power all need to do CYA because they are the ones who allowed this fraud to take over this nation. The more they say it doesn’t matter - while our children’s future is being devoured by this non-American - the more they incriminate themselves. The people can see that not only is Obama naked, but the hucksters who put him in place are naked too - the new magic clothes might work among the media folks, but we the people are not blind and I for one am getting mighty disgusted at the way the supposedly “credible” people are lying and breaking laws as if they think I and the other awake people are all total idiots who can’t see what they’re doing.

Yep. She went from having at least a semi-credible issue that she raised (jurisdictional issues), to having total BS as an excuse.

I wonder if she purposely made her reason so stupid that people would know she was acting under duress. Only one of Obama’s imbeciles trying to put the words into her mouth would come up with an excuse as stupid as the one she’s trying to use.

The DNC used to be the DNC. What is it now?

I think it is as simple as her watching the polls. And thinking about re election. Esp if she has hopes of running nationally and not just state.

The polls that say 90% of Americans say we should have a law like this one?

The polls that show Trump at the head of the pack because he had the courage to take on the eligibility issue?

Now what was your point again?

ignorant: “lacking knowledge or information as to a particular subject or fact”

Odd that you picked the word that perfectly describes your own status with regard to this issue.

It’s deliberate. They’ve followed his lead. On Obama’s campaign ‘Fight the smears’ web site he described himself as ‘native born’ - in the same paragraph describing his at-birth dual American/British citizenship.

By referring to himself as a ‘native born citizen’, he was protecting himself. If he had said ‘natural born citizen’ he’d have been lying in print.

The subtle way to avoid lying - by himself, and by ‘journalists’. Also known as covering one’s arse.

He’s a thief of trust, a wanna-be destroyer of our country, a scoundrel of the highest order, but no one should make the mistake of underestimating him - he’s nobody’s fool. He’s not ‘controlled’ by Soros. He may be dependent on Soros’ money and power - but he’s an active and enthusiastic partner in Soros’ agenda, and just as dangerous. They NEED each other, as Barry is the only dem who can assuredly get the vote of most blacks and other minorities.

No. The poll that showed Obama’s popularity rises every time the issue of his record of birth is mentioned.
You do not have to be rude. I was having a conversation. Not an argument. I did not say I agreed with her. Or with the polls.
