This is the culture of inner city african communities. These are old world tactics brought from deepest africa. Do we accept this culture or demand that laws be enforced. Are we becoming a 3rd world cr*p hole like Zimbabwe? Watch this video.

Culture:
The totality of socially transmitted behavior patterns, arts, beliefs, institutions, and all other products of human work and thought. The predominating attitudes and behavior that characterize the functioning of a group or organization.

It doesn’t say it has to be good. You can “cultivate” thistles & thornbushes if you choose to.

Yeah, I know your definition. I prefer mine. Even by YOUR definition that mentions art, beliefs, institutions and PRODUCTs of human WORK we see NONE of this in this mob invasion. Putting a Webster spin on it don’t help a damn bit, contrarian.

You’d probably be putting your life in danger if you took any action to thwart these “people”.

I’ve heard it termed “Empowerment in the Age of Obama”.

You cannot arrest everyone doing this because you couldn’t house them all. When the insurance companies get tired of paying for it, they’ll figure out a way to stop it. Until then, it’s the price of doing business in the urban world.

Snakes dropping from the ceiling would do the job.

Why not blame the hoodlums who are robbing the store blind?

Do you think they know better?

"Businesses should start installing turnstile doors..."

Or just banning lifeguards from shopping on the premises.

Merchants will quit carrying their kind of merchandise, and will quit servicing their neighborhoods. It has been happening for years with grocery stores that refuse to go into certain neighborhoods because of shoplifting.

Then the professional grievance organizations claim the corporations are racist because they won't build stores in the neighborhoods. The “taxpayers” have to offer tax incentives to get the grocery store back into the neighborhoods. So, we are subsidizing the blatant theft.

De-fund the left. They are destroying our society.

I hate to say it but I'll go ahead anyway.

Truly great patriots like Herman Cain, Allen West, Clarence Thomas, Thomas Sowell and Star Parker are the outliers in today's black America. The law-abiding, decent people are the oddballs in that community as a whole. And that's a real shame.

It may take someone like Herman Cain ascending to the presidency with the courage to say "enough is enough" and get tough -- really tough. Sadly, I don't think any white person (maybe not even Sarah Palin) in that office dare touch the escalating issue of feral black youth.

That's evidenced even here on Free Republic. When a story like this garbs the headlines (as it does far too often), there's a rush to see who can be the first with "Must be the Amish". Even here on one of America's most un-PC of forums, we're reduced to speaking code.

Courtesy ping to great FRiend windflier whose opinion is always valued on this and other subjects.

This happened in virtually gun free DC. Doubt this would happen in TX.

There's a response on there by a young black man who says he buys clothes and works for his stuff. The language is rough but he wasn't of fan of the thieves. He said, "White people are already afraid of your skin color" and went on to say these fools make it worse for honest people.

Flash Mob of teens rob dupont circle store - response - rough language

Snakes dropping from the ceiling would do the job.

Hillarious mind picture there... But I don't think I'd shop at a store with said security system.

I tried to find the far side panel "History and the snake" where the sieging army catapults in a snake and everyone runs out of the fortress.

Yup, I would not want to lock them in my shop. I deal in high end stuff but thankfully it’s not near as easy to carry out or resell as a pair of jeans.

And I got my last NEW pair of jeans for 10 bucks? what exactly is a “high” end pair of jeans? A bigger price tag and a “designer” name?
