Well the commies at google have failed to acknowledge it's d-day, again. Every year I check to see if the commies and the LGBT crowd that will throw up a goofy graphic on every other national occasion would bother to ack d-day. Well they didn't, as usual.

“For example Ive made business decisions NOT to use google”
...who do you use then? Certainly not Yahoo.
And did you notice Google’s “acknowledgement” of Memorial Day? A flag graphic, smaller than a postage stamp, under the Google logo. All other “special” days have a large, flamboyant graphic at the top of the page.
there are a number of search engines but search engines are only part of the story.
google makes most of its money off its sales of advertising which is then presented to the user doing a search.
One of these days enough people will band together and send a message to Google.
You will NOT control us and your days are numbered.
You perform a much needed service but you have gone too far, you are TOO powerful and its time to clip your wings.
This is truly amazing.
Well in another 365 days all you have to do is bump this thread again. Something to look forward to I guess.
They generally avoid somber/serious events with their “doodles” (the large, flashy graphics at the top), which explains the smaller memorial day graphic.
I agree.
But he claims he’s smart and conservatives are stupid! I have a LOT to learn! /s
PERFECT example of the BS from google.
Remember Google likes to focus on obscure days. Anything that shows up on generic calendars probably won’t make the cut except for the handful they can’t really avoid. D-Day isn’t obscure. Apparently neither is New Zealand’s celebration of the queen’s birthday since Google is ignoring that too.
Commies.
They didn’t last year. Their page was awesome.
If you are comparing D-day with “ New Zealands celebration of the queens birthday” I am missing your point.
I’m saying that’s another event that show’s up on calendars (at least on the Blue Brothers calendar I have here) for today that Google is “ignoring”. They probably won’t acknowledge Australia’s version of he queen’s birthday on the 13th either. Probably will ignore Flag Day next Tuesday. They usually do something for the summer solstice. So barring an obscure birthday that’s gonna be it for June.
366 days. ;)
