NEW YORK – New York Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner (WEE'-nuhr) says racy, shirtless pictures that appeared on a website are him and he's apologizing for what he calls making terrible mistakes.
During a teary-eyed press conference, he says he won't resign.

Why would he quit? This kind of scandal is a vote getter for a Democrat. He covered up and lied for a while to make sure it stayed public so that his constituency wold all know and the lying is another ploy for voters, a resumé enhancement.
