Obama was making the point that if his daughters can get their homework done on time, then Congress should be able to do the same thing.
However, there is only one tiny problem. Malia, Obama's oldest daughter, is not yet 13. She is 12 and will turn 13 next month on July 4th.

Yup, Palin, Bachmann, or Bush, you would NEVER hear the end of it, and Obama is always saying dumb things.
Pray tell, how can they finish “ homework” a day or two in advance of it being assigned??? Homework is generally assigned daily to reinforce the days instructions. Projects and papers and research assignments are given well in advance of a due date to allow time for thought.
Most kids like to do that. My little cousin isn’t 7, he’s 7 AND A HALF years old.

I know in some public schools, home work is "assigned" for a week after complaints daily homework assignments interfered with kid's active sedentary lifestyles.

I’m sure the lame-stream media will jump all over this like they would if Sarah Palin made that same mistake. (Do I need the “/sarc” tag?)
But if the press is going to parse words for Bachmann and exaggeration errors of anyone not Obama, he should get the same treatment.
This is a man who signed a guest book "2008" on a state visit just last month. Maybe he thinks he's a time traveler.
