Who would be surprised at her current numbers after being attacked for three years?

According to the conventional wisdom, it may be too late for her to run.

How many times must conventional wisdom be destroyed before people begin to ignore it?

"Ms. Palin's done no fundraising,"

She doesn't need to. We are all holding our bucks until she gives us the word GO!

Also, it’s not quite accurate that she is doing no fund-raising. I’ve gotten a couple of letters from SarahPac, presumably because one of the conservative or pro-life causes I donate to gave her people my mailing address.

Of course, SarahPac could just be raising money to support other candidates or whatever. Or it could be for her coming use.

Only the truly ignorant underestimate Sarah Palin (i didn’t say they are unintelligent) but ignorant of the facts on how time and time again she has overcome people more powerful than her, she knows whats she’s doing and her unconventional ways appears to confuse her adversaries and keep them unbalance everytime.

She’s not a hillbilly. I would ask if there is nothing too low for them to throw at her, but we all know there isn’t.

"Candidates start early to build name recognition and need a campaign organization to get supporters to the polls."

Sarah already has that. Why should she start so early(which she has, duh) when she can get things done BEFORE she announces....without them harping on her about the "rules and regulations"?

Sarah is one smart cookie. I CANNOT wait to vote for her in 2012.....nor the debates between her and barry. I would NOT be surprised if barry walks off the stage at one of their debates.

She should wait until October of 2012 to announce. Considering her name recognition and popularity, she’d win and say “I’ve already saved the American people tens of millions of dollars, and I don’t owe a dime to anyone.”

The Ghettobillys won’t vote for her for sure, but everyone else is darn angry at the current crop of knaves, thugs, dopes, idiots, thieves, and corrupt criminals in DC.

Don't they wish...

What utter horse flop. No such "conventional wisdom" exists, except in the minds of liberal media drones. Reagan didn't announce his candidacy until November of 1979, and traditionally, most campaigns have started between late summer, and early fall.

Palin's got plenty of time, and the success of her campaign also won't be dependent on snapping up any of the so-called 'elite' campaign organizers who are now drifting to others.

As far as all the worry about 'donors' committing to other candidates, those are big money contributors they're talking about - not the $100 small folk who are the real fuel of presidential campaigns. Us regular folks are just fine on keeping our money in our pockets until Sarah declares.

"Sarah Palin has 3.2 million followers on Facebook -- about 800,000 more than all the declared GOP candidates combined. Palinistas tend to be the sort who would crawl over ground glass to vote for her. She has less need of a get-out-the-vote operation than any political figure in modern times."

There's also this very illuminating finding:

CafePress has seen its T-shirt sales predict the winner of the previous three presidential elections...

Jack Kelly is a idiot. Anyone could crawl over ground glass. We Sarah Palin fans would crawl over BROKEN glass for her.

Sarah has it in the bag, if she announces. Then any diatribes against her will be laughed at, scoffed at, and those making them, shall be memorialized by their own infamy.

Why should Sarah bother to declare early?

She’s got name recognition and her message gets out just fine, thank you. The press can’t wait to cover every syllable she utters or writes, hoping for a fatal gaffe, when in fact they’re giving her all the free press she could ever want. Sarah is running one HELL of a campaign without even declaring! Sweet!

All she needs to do is get her name on all 50 ballots, then the rest is history.

The conventional wisdom is more conventional than wise. Candidates start early to build name recognition and need a campaign organization to get supporters to the polls.

1. NOBODY has more name recognition than Sarah Palin
2. When she announces, she will have no problem "forming" an organization.
