So what! Do something about it. I hope to God I live long enough to see an American President with the balls to tell those cess pool dwellers at the UN to go back to the hell they came from and then proceed to tear that ugly shrine to international socialism down!

“One can dream, no?
Personally, I would love for us to call the bluff. “Okay, the USA is obviously not the kind of country you want in this club. We’ll make things easier for ya, we’ll just withdraw our membership...and our money.”

Not to put too fine a point on it, but I would add one more sentence: And you have 30 days to get the hell out of New York City! Bag and baggage!

Ooops! That’s two sentences.

Now would this 'U.N. top human rights official' be the guy from IRAN, the Sudan, Rwanda or one of those places where they Stone People To Death for stealing a loaf of bread?

whatta freaking joke.

Law comes from the rights of the governed. Since they have no enforcable government or rights, The UN is but a silly superlous body.

"We decline to follow the United States’ suggestion of granting a stay to allow Leal to bring a claim based onhypothetical legislation when it cannot even bring itself to say that his attempt to overturn his conviction has anyprospect of success. We may note that in a portion of its opinion vacated by the Fifth Circuit on procedural grounds, the District Court found that any violation of the Vienna Convention would have been harmless." - U.S. Supreme court ruling

There is no such thing as International Law.

There are some agreements between countries ,but that is it. A sovereign country has it’s own laws and the UN can go get fudged.

Who Passes International law?. Who is the UN police Chief. Who is the UN’s judge and who appointed him.Where are the UN police? Do they have traffic Camera’s too? Who was the last person the UN locked up.

The UN is a joke that is trying hard to make itself relevant , but isn’t succeeding. If they want to push International law they can start with the pirates in Samalia. How many Afghani’s do they have in prison for growing drug Poppy’s. How many of them does the UN have locked up?

Get the US out of the UN and the UN out of the US.

the UN voted to impose financial sanctions on Qadaffi and to refer him to the World Court for investigation of civilian abuses

I am not aware that the UN sanctioned military operations to remove or assassinate him and his family

Can you refer me to a link?

“Let the U.N. come complain to us about it.”

Indeed, send lots of blue helmets into the state, we’d give them a nice Texas welcome. Don’t bother with buying return airfare, we’re quite sure that they’ll like Texas so much that they’ll stay here pretty much forever. Of course, it is quite hot down here, and to cool them off we’ll be glad to put one or even several holes in their helmets to help with ventilation.
