In a post on her Facebook page from "proverbial politico flyover country," the former Alaska governor reprinted a letter she sent to newly elected members last fall, emphasizing the need to "rein in out-of-control government spending" and "check the growth of spending on our entitlement programs."
"I respectfully ask these GOP Freshman to re-read this letter and remember us 'little people' who believed in them, donated to their campaigns, spent hours tirelessly volunteering for them, and trusted them with our votes. This new wave of public servants may recall that they were sent to D.C. for such a time as this," Palin wrote.

I never take civil debates personally. Even uncivil debates personally.
Whatever bill passes does not begin the process in reigning in the coming disaster. And until that is addressed, disaster is not that far away. And I’m not talking about Default. I’m talking about colapse.

In a world where so much is beyond our control, we need to control the H3LL out of what we DO control-!!! NO increase in the debt, come what may.
I am talking about 14 months of baby steps in small political victories leading to winning the ability to make major reforms in 2012. We cannot effect them without power. We cannot effect them now.
The talking point when GOP had the advantage was ... you have to reach across the aisle and compromise with the 1/3..... GOP Rinos...are eunuchs.

Sometimes we get reminded that there seems to be only one person in this country right now who has the combination of leadership ability including an uncanny knack of picking the right moment to take a stand, and most importantly a sense of WHERE to lead the country forward out of the quicksand we’ve wandered into. The Democrats thought they had such a person in Obama. We on our side always knew that they were dreadfully, disastrously wrong.
There really ought to be more than one person with that set of qualifications that we could look to as a standard-bearer going forward into 2012 and beyond.
But if there is more than one, I don’t see him or her.
I really, truly would like there to be more than one person with that combination. I’d like at least one of that kind of person to be running for President right now. Maybe, eventually, there will be.
But, you go into elections with the politicians you have, not with the politicians you wish you had.
I would rather not have to put all of our hope and faith in one small lady from Alaska. My guess is that she would really rather that we didn’t have to do that, either.
Sarah Palin’s call to the freshman TEA party Representatives to stand their ground on the ‘debt ceiling fight’ is just another reminder of why so many conservatives want her to run for president. Unlike some erstwhile ‘fiscal conservatives’ Palin doesn’t look for excuses to capitulate to the Democrats on the serious issue of increasing U.S. indebtedness and permitting the American economy to crumble while Obama spends trillions more in borrowed money that we can’t repay and the federal government grows bigger and more intrusive by the day. Sarah Palin has the ability to influence many, including TEA party congressional Representatives being pressured by Boehner, that they are answerable to the people that sent them to Washington, not the politicians and media types that are trying to push them into voting against their principles. Sarah Palin shares those conservative principles and her encouragement to the TEA party members of congress is both welcomed and admirable.
The GOP liars have been saying this for years: Oh, we only have a half of a third of the government. Oh, we only have the Presidency. Oh, we don’t have a supermajority in the Senate. It’s always, wait for this, wait for that. All the while, the GOP is too busy making deals with Chuck U Schumer to give a you know what about their own party’s base.
We already had both houses and the Presidency. Nothing happened, except pushing through more big government programs.
This is a hill to die on as far as I’m concerned. It’s too late in 2013 if we don’t make serious cuts NOW!!!

which would be fine, if we were dealing with truthful, honorable people .. in politics and the state-run media. But, how many thousands of times have you heard tax cuts for the rich, oil subsidies, corporate jets.
Tax cuts were for everyone. The richest 10% are paying 65% of all income taxes. Oil companies take their business deductions allowed by law like every other company, and profits are relative to expenses .. no matter HOW many zeroes. Corporate jets speed up travel time for busy, responsible executives, client meeting time, etc. etc.

People will see the pubbies have done all they can if and when smart policies are fought for and enacted that cause economic relief and jobs to come back, bringing some sanity and stability back into their stressful lives.
I think it is very clever of Sarah to allow the Rino eunuchs and socialist Dems to come out of the closet and show us who they are.... patience.
I have been saying for two years, that she has more power as a private citizen than she would in office on capital hill.

I do not believe I have called you a name. You have called me one, however, and inaccurately. Resorting to an ad hominem attack is not a justification for an argument. I simply think that discretion is sometimes the better part of valor. I am fighting Obama in 2012 with every ounce of passion I can muster . . . and you are fighting for principle, which is a fine thing. But, my fight is long-term. Yours is short-term. You want your principle. I want the power to employ principle. I want the White House, and the Senate, and an enlarged majority in the House.

What makes u believe that even if we get a majority in the senate and a GOP president, that the McCains, The Snowe’s, The Lugars, The Grahams, The McConnels wont tie things in knots, like they did before? Do u want the 14 Gangsters to come back? How about the 6 Gangsters? The u will have 20 Gangsters? These are the same folks (Present and Past) who have brought us to the brink. When is the time for u to draw a line in the sand? The next deal, the next election, the next decade?
