I noticed something similiar in a TV interview. He was very uncomfortable defending his position against Bachman. You’ve got to be unflinching and he’s not.

Take Huntsman, Santorum and Gingrich with you.

Yeah, take Huntsman. Take Ron Paul too. But let's leave Santorum and Gingrich for at least awhile because they do add positively to the debates.

https://dps.mn.gov/divisions/dvs/Pages/Registration-Tax.aspx says there are different fees for registering trucks ~ but an automobile looks like it can be anywhere from about $35 to $50 bucks depending on age. Not saying you didn’t pay $500 but not for a car.

Chris Wallace a RomneyBOT? Plausible. Romney probably benefits most from Pawlenty's exit.

Misogynist? There's only one female candidate in the race now and that's Bachmann. Bachmann seems to have benefited from the debate dust-up with Pawlenty that Wallace provoked. So if Wallace is a misogynist, it's hard to see him saying, "Mission Accomplished."

It seems like the GOP nomination will narrow down in the early primaries to a three-person race with Romney, Bachmann, and Perry. (Ron Paul could stay in to the end as in '08, but only as a spoiler.) Regrettably, the more conservative wing of the party will be divided again, putting it at a disadvantage, especially in the later winner-take-all states.

One thing Fur Shur, we have a whale of a lot of regular Republicans, TEAParty types, Freepers and Social Conservatives who have NO INTEREST in governors who can balance budgets and control debt.

And that's no matter what they say otherwise.

That's why you'll never see Kasich and Daniels get through the initial show trials.

You can fee folks to death and not call it a tax

With fees you have a choice. If you do not like the fee to use state parks do not use them. If you do not like the fee for cigarettes don't smoke, but do not make me pay for the things that you want with higher taxes, (I may not use or want them}.

I go back and forth about the Perry-Palin idea. I’m starting to like the idea. However, I’m not up to speed on primaries, caucuses, and the timing of when this could be announced, should they decide this is their plan. If that ticket could be announced sooner rather than later, man it would be tough to compete against. But I’ve always felt like Sarah is why McCain lost. Not that I dislike her, I do like her. Always thought she turned a lot of people off during the last election. That’s anyone’s guess..

Gingrich should be just stay where he is best- as an advisor,
think tank guru etc. He has the knowledge and intellect. But too much baggage.

Just hypothesizing on the inevitability of a male nominee.

Perry gets the nonination!

Romney will be seen as the “fake conservative” on one side of him, and Bachmann will be seen as the “crazy conservative” (or “unelectable conservative,” it doesn’t matter which) on the other side of him. Perry will look like the best alternative, which he most likely is .

As Paul Burka (of whom I’m no fan) said, good luck seems to follow Perry everywhere he goes. I’m just hoping that his luck will include Ron Paul’s rejection of a third-party candidicy.
