Ron Paul probably shouldn’t expect a presidential endorsement from Florida Rep. Allen West.
The Republican congressman had some strong words for the candidate Saturday, two days after Paul suggested during Thursday’s GOP debate that Iran be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon because so many other countries already have them.
Speaking at a Tea Party event in Fort Lauderdale, West said he was deeply concerned about U.S. foreign policy, and particularly the threat Iran poses to the rest of the world.

Ron Paul has some good ideas, but for every good one he has a nutty one to neuter it.

Ron Paul disgusts me so much I almost want to throw up whenever I see him or hear him speak .
Anyone that thinks he is the model America should follow needs to be tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail .
Yet if Ron Paul would have received only 153 more votes in the straw poll, he would have beat out Bachmann-Rollins.
I seem to recall West coming out and saying he made a wrong vote on the Pigford black farmer reparations. Nobody’s 100% perfect.
I guess the Tea Party could throw him under the bus and let a Democrat get elected to that district. I’m sure Debbie Wasserman-Shultz would be happy to help.

I tried to attend the Cedarburg event the day after her VP acceptance speech. I live 30 miles from there. I thought, I’ll leave 2 hours early. It’s only 20 miles away. WRONG. I never got near the event. She and West have the gift. If I had that gift, I don’t know how I’d handle it. But, they both were, granted by the grace of God the ability to speak, relate and deliver a message. Thank God for people like this. I’d LOVE to be in that group. Sadly, I’m just a voter.
