The 6-year-old girl was taken by a stranger from a playground right outside her South Valley home.
The girl lives at the Vista Del Sol mobile home park near Blake and Unser SW.
Police say she was on the playground at around 4pm Monday when a man in a green van pulled up.
An alert neighbor says the man tried to coax the little girl into his van.
The child was being resistant to his enticement and that is what caused him to get out of the car and actually push her into the van, said Officer Robert Gibbs with the Albuquerque Police Department.
The neighbor then jumped into his own car and chased after Phil Garcia, the suspected kidnapper, while calling 911.

Callin’ in the dogs - A pair of pliers and a blowtorch- Fixin to get medieval with soon to be dead child molester.
(Shades of Pulp Fiction)
LoL... Obviously KArtographer has not given this much thought..
YOU however are scary...
He may find some perverse pleasure in all that, so I say Get a Rope.
And some of the responses are VERY creative. I like them too.
You`re right... best the parents take that chance on her being kidnapped. How could I be so statist in my thinking?
Amen. Bet the perp is on parole!
Those days are over.
There shouldn't be a problem. Like the perp, the hero neighbor (Antonio Diaz Chacon) is Hispanic.

I'd quote from the more detailed article at the link, but I'm just a newbie and not absolutely positive it's okay to quote from Yahoo News. 8-)
By instinctively resorting to the notion that government can remedy every evil in this world and that empowering it to that end would be a fine idea.
That's how.
Ow.
Well, the peons in Vegas get uppity from time-to-time. :)
In all seriousness, you’re right about the person before they went in. I just find all the drawn out torture stuff tough to believe.
Way back in the good old days when this stuff never happened [/sarcasm], my something happened to my aunt (nothing that bad, but I never found out details) by some perv that was solved by my grandfather putting a pistol in said perv’s mouth. My Grdad was a hard enough guy, was a cop, was shot (and survived), killed people. The perv knowing my grandfather would kill him was enough to scare him straight. He didn’t spiders or cowhide bags.
Forgive my bluntness, just my $.02
I`m not sating that, What I`m saying is the actions of the parent obviously endangered the child. You don`t think there`s any ramification for that?
Thick face,
Black Heart.
One does what one must.
How about this version of proper justice?;
Put him a room full of rocking chairs
Release 20 long tail cats into the room
Cue Barry Mannilow music
After a sufficient time, with the kitties, flood room with 3 feet of water.
Release 5 adolescent tiger sharks and let them spend 10 minutes with him.
Pull the sharks after no more than 10 minutes and then place him a room full of mirrors, so he can see his pain. Spend the rest of the week misting the room with salt water at 20 minute intervals for 4 days and place him a straight jacket with a muzzle so we dont have hear his shrieking.
But thats just me.
Actually I have another version and salt can be used in it.
Should be posted above this post.
You must be a lumberjack.
I’d be plum tired after all that.

That sounds like a lot of work on your part. I think I would just stake him to an ant hill and pour honey on him, lots of honey on certain parts...I think that was an old Apache trick...oldie but goodie.
