It may not rank as the most compelling reason to curb greenhouse gases, but reducing our emissions might just save humanity from a pre-emptive alien attack, scientists claim.
Watching from afar, extraterrestrial beings might view changes in Earth's atmosphere as symptomatic of a civilisation growing out of control – and take drastic action to keep us from becoming a more serious threat, the researchers explain.

The pseudo-science in this report fits very well with the pseudo-science of man-made climate change. Of course I am sure the greenies would gladly join the aliens in their war to genocide mankind.

Actually the aliens already trashed their own planet’s atmopshere and plundered earth to save their planet. They owe us big time.

This is the one glaring mistake in the study. The aliens are not watching from afar but are here and even have a leader. His name is Al Gore.
