CHICAGO (WLS) - Republican presidential candidate and former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich is referring to Republican front runner Rick Perry as a "flavor of the month."
Gingrich made the comment in an interview on WLS during the Don and Roma show Wednesday.
"Well I think that right now we're in a cycle where we get sorta the flavor of the month. You know Herman Cain got a good run and then Michele Bachmann got a good run. Rick Perry's now getting a good run. I think Romney and Perry are probably the front runners in terms of the amount of money they can raise. But you know if raising money's the key, Obama's gonna get re-elected," Gingrich said.

Yeah, Newt. I guess you’re just waiting your turn. News flash - it ain’t coming!
Well if anyone would know about flavors of the month...
Whatevuh....
You leave a bad taste in everyone’s mouth.
IF you'd rather NOT be pinged FReepmail me.
IF you'd like to be added FReepmail me. Thanks.
But your all-time favorite flavor is Pelosi-on-a-global-warming-couch, hey Newt?
Mmmmm, mmmmmmm, mmmmmm!
Roccus: Gingrich, just saying his leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
and that would make Newt a decades-aged-at-room-temp ham.
Newt is the flavor of the past, and the sooner he realizes it, the sooner he can get back to being useful, on occasions, when he isn’t peddling socialized medicine, global warming, and other little progressive poisons.
Hey Newt put a sock in it. Go buy some blink for that scary woman you call your third wife.
NEWT GINGRICH: Rick Perry's book "almost came too late" [Foreward to "Fed Up!"]
"I wish this book had never needed to be written.
It almost came too late.
America is recklessly accelerating toward economic disaster. Fed Up! may be the last warning sign to the danger that lies ahead.
Rick Perry, Texas governor for the past decade, is uniquely qualified to offer a firsthand perspective on why the United Statesthe most successful civilization in human historyis being threatened with economic collapse.
First Principles
Faith, freedom, and free enterprise are the pillars of a strong, safe, prosperous society. Rick knows that when these principles are protected, America succeeds, and when they are undermined, America fails. But the Left has a different belief. The Left believes that most people are not capable of pursuing happiness and that a strong centralized government is best able to provide for them. While claiming compassion for humanity, the Left's policies are destructive to the human beings subject to themas we have had to learn painfully again and again.
The Left's self-serving solution to every crisis, economic or otherwise, and many of their own doing, is always the same: inflict higher taxes on Americans to create more government programs with more rules and regulations that result in less freedom, less innovation, less safety, and less prosperity.
The problem with the Lefts one solution, as Rick forcefully explains in the pages that follow, is that it doesn't work. It's never worked, and it never will work. The record shows it.
But what the record also shows is that when power and freedom are returned to the people, when people are rewarded for work, and when government holds the line on spending, individuals and opportunity thrive. We have seen that result most spectacularly recently in Texas, and in the mid-1990s with the Contract with America Congress, when I served as Speaker of the House.
The Texas Record........................."

"Now, let me tell you about global warming and the need for carbon credits"
Newt is the avocado, bacon and marshmallows ice creme flavor of the month.
I’ll drink that Perrier for the next decade !
“Flavor of the Month”, kind of like Newt’s wives.
We can blame Sean Hannity for pumping up this reject's ego.
Just go home Newt.
Newt is probably the smartest guy to ever even try to run for President, but he has just simply taken himself out of the run because of garbage he caused and has made a mess of explaining...sad, but his time has come and thankfully passed on by. On and upward, PERRY!!
