Perry is NOT Bush...hell the Bushes and Perry anren’t even political allies. The Bushes supported Kay Bailey Hutchison in her run against Perry.

“I didnt think the Bushes were so much Texan as the were Northeastern Transplants.”
Exactly. The left assumes that what people didn't like about Bush was the Texas veneer. This is 180 degrees off the mark. Bush's Texas persona was popular. It took him to historic high approval ratings after 9/11. It was the Yalie in him that caused trouble. His progressive streak kept surfacing, with No Child Left Behind, the Medicare prescription benefit, the urge to do good in Iraq and Afghanistan rather than merely killing bad guys, etc.
America isn't suffering for Texas fatigue at all. It never was. It's pining for a genuine cowboy and Perry just might be able to fill the bill.

Can you post the link? Thank you.

Sounds like you are right and it was wrapped in an environmental package, perhaps U.N. enforcing global statutes using a sympathetic U.S. Administration?
This is called "sharing the wealth" global style. Sounds like Beck was right.

I hate Oprah and The View, but most of my friends love them.

Great Post. I especially like the “deliver a knock out for America”
and yes agreed - he does have Cajones the size of Texas.
You will not see this man “bow” to anyone except God.

Well see how Perry does in the debates. Any insights into how strong Perry's debating skills are? I haven't seen him in that kind of forum.

Many women gets their “news” from places like Regis & Kelly, the View, Oprah Winfrey, Letterman, Jon Stewart, etc.

Finally, if the Republicans were to nominate businessman Herman Cain, President Obama would attract 42% of the vote to Cains 35%. Interesting that spread is as small as it is. My theory is there's a likeability factor with Cain that some candidates don't necessarily have.

I’m ready to have it explained to me how Palin can’t screw this up for Perry. Please be gentle.

Many women gets their news from places like Regis & Kelly, the View, Oprah Winfrey, Letterman, Jon Stewart, etc. Spot on. Those "sources" are such liberal filtered cr*p, there's no value to them at all.

So much for the sexy Perry meme. Yep. Unfortunately, women as a demographic group tend to vote for the candidate that promises more government benefits. They want the government to fill the shoes of the husband by providing for them. Sad.

I think a lot of women want to be taken care of and “daddy government” will do it so they vote that way. I am a woman and I do NOT feel like that but I know a few women who do and they are libs.

I’ve heard he’s good but I’ll have to see for myself.
I like what he says in public. He doesn’t seem to pull his punches. And that’s what I’m looking for.
I’m not looking for a Shakespearean actor. I want a leader who wants to put America back on the road to being America.

Those are yesterdays numbers. Today it’s worse again. Obama back to -24.
And tomorrow he’ll be even worse after his amateur Joint Session putsch screw-up.
