AP is maintaining vote-count pages for both the NY special election and the Nevada special election for the US House

New York District 9, Weprin v Turner

Nevada District 2, Amodei v Marshall

You would think he’d be getting more votes from the Dems who just can’t bring themselves to vote Republican. It’s encouraging to see so few. It’s an indication that voters actually like Turner and aren’t just sending a message to the Dem machine.

The numbers in Queens seem to be holding up. Looks like this one is over.

Generally, the Jews in the Brooklyn portion are Orthodox, the Jews in Queens (Forest Hills) are secular.

Looks like I spoke too soon...BIG jump in queens. Maybe they pulled out a truckload of ballots after all.

Turner’s still way ahead though. Weiner carried Queens 65/35.

While I want Turner to just win no matter where the votes come from, it will be extra special if he also wins Queens since that is where I’m from.
