Chris Christie Reconsidering 2012 Run, Will Decide in Days
Newsmax via Drudge ^

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is reconsidering his decision not to enter the 2012 presidential race — and he says he will let top Republican donors know within days about his plans, Newsmax has learned. During the past few weeks, several leading Republican donors and fundraisers have been urging the popular Republican governor to reconsider his decision not to run and to enter the GOP primary. These Christie supporters note that significant GOP support has remained on the sidelines of the primary fight. Many leading fundraisers have yet to commit to any current primary contender, including frontrunners Rick Perry and Mitt Romney. Newsmax has learned that the effort to draft Christie culminated in a hush-hush powwow held in the past week with Christie and several notable Republican billionaires.

Christie at this point I don’t care what your views are. Lose the weight first.

Chris Christie is openly pro-life, and has governed as a pro-life governor, so I would bet that your disagreements with him on abortion are on the margins.

“...you simply just don’t know...”

What I know is that liberals despise Ann Coulter.

I’ve heard some good things about this book though I have not personally read it. At the beginning of my teaching career, history was one of the subjects that I taught. It was astounding to me to watch the steady progression in the publishing of textbooks to revise a great deal of that history. I believe that if parents sat down and read some of the textbooks being used by their children today....that they would be equally astounded.

It is no wonder, no accident, that students today have little or no understanding of the history and LIGHT of this nation.

Are you familiar with William Federer’s *America’s God and Country Encyclopedia of Quotations?*

Imagine having a man of Christie’s bullying forcefulness telling conservatives to SHUT UP about sharia, to SHUT UP about stopping the ground zero mosque, to GROW UP and stop opposing government subsidies for “green” energy, to GROW UP and stop demanding gun rights. The man is conservatives’ worst nightmare, yet they are lusting for him to become president.

This breathless excitement over Christie doesn’t make Ann Coulter look quite as intelligent as I’ve thought she was.

PSN...my statements were not about peoples faith who have convictions....it was and is about those who do not and those who sit on the fence of what reality is today.... and the current reality of the world we live in now....

This isn’t about God coming for his own...this is about an election of which he asks our co-operation. This is about and in these next months ahead of choosing a candidate.

And no it is not a Godless statmenet to say the only power we have is at the Ballot Box.....that is the order of which we elect our candidates. If there is any other power it would be for Gods intervention and His power to change this equation. But he gives free-will for men to choose.

Your’ve not been paying attention if you have not observed those being vetted here and in the public sector. Of course they are all being vetted.....

I am a Christian and have no doubt that God has given man the freedom to elect our candidates....but this also includes those who are not Christian...and any in between. This requires our co-operation to investigate and seek the best for that office....not just hang around the edges and expect God to do what He has assigned us to do.

Hi. Haven’t posted in...years...and I like your name. I’d be interested big big in Christie. One, he was elected in New Jersey, he talks like a working Joe, and I keep reading these asinine polls that say no one can beat the obama-meister.

(years ago, my seabag was lost on greyhound. when I got the insurance check from them, it was $32601...I called to inquire, as my claim was for less, $200-some, pricey flannel and holy blue jeans...talked w/the prezz...he asked me, kindly, to write “void” on that and send it to Des Moines. I did. Got the right amount a couple weeks later. He explained that the 32601 was my zip. Someone goofed. )

onward and upward.

Politicians who surround themselves with armed security yet do not allow citizens to do the same deserve all of the contempt possible.

Is that guy really Christie?

Please, Mr. Christie. for the sake of you, your family, NJ, and possibly the nation, make an effort to lose some weight.

I agree.

I am a conservative living in NJ and I believe that Christie should stay NJ Gov where he can do some good, rather than try for US Prez, where he could only do great harm.
