“she’s confined to a confidentiality agreement with the National Restaurant Association, where she made the charges against Cain in the late 1990s.”

Well alrighty then. She’s screwed.

I’ve been uncomfortable with the way that people have been talking about the two or three women mentioned in the Politico article. From the beginning of this story, people have been hateful toward the women and called them names, as FlingWingFlyer does in post # 4.

As far as I can tell, this is a press-generated story. Politico’s hack thinks he can make his name on this “scandal.”

The more people attack unknown women, the more likely they are to need that lawyer, even if he comes off as an ambulance chaser in this report. The more we hear “prove it!” and the hateful comments about their characters, even more so.

We don’t know a thing about any of the women and there’s no evidence that the women are the source of the leak. There were lots of people who knew, the other NRA board members, other employees, and then all of the lawyers’ staff. From what was in the first Politico article, it looks to me as though the leak came from a former campaign staffer and was shored up by the National Restaurant Association board member.

If Cain’s the man we all hope he is, he’ll tell people to move on and to leave these women alone.

When CNN first brought this up this afternoon, they said one of the women had moved in with relatives for now because the media were swarming her DC home.

HOW did they know who she was?

WHO told Politico what the alleged incidents were?

We need answers to these questions.

“Her attorney...also maintained that the case was resolved in a sexual harassment settlement.”

Her attorney is being very dishonest here. “Sexual harassment” has a specific legal meaning, with conditions that must be proven through valid evidence. Making a subjective, one-sided “legal” claim that something is “sexual harassment” is ridiculous:

And if she had such a solid case- then why didn’t she bring it?

Bill Clinton took advantage of a young aid in the oval office. Then he lied to the world and the court about it. Nothing happened.

Whatever this is, it ain’t dip by comparison to Clinton’s cigar. This lesbian took the money, and went on a cruise. It was all by design. And by taking the money, and signing the papers, she agreed to keep her foul mouth shut forever and ever.

Oh, but now, she wants to say what she “believes,” in her biased ass perspective, was the case. I say STFU lesbo! Whatever you might say now will be in violation of your agreement. Besides who would consider you credible, if you do? Since if you speak now, you will have lied when you took the money, and the pledge of silence. What? You want more money now? What sort of slut are you, anyway?

“Former President of National Restaurant Association has Ties to the Mitt Romney Campaign
Steven C. Anderson … took over the helm as Chief Executive Officer at the National Restaurant Association
Herman Cain's departure in 1999”

Whenever Team Romney had rumors they wanted to start about other candidates,
Jonathan Martin has been their go-to guy to get those rumors in writing in front of a national audience.

“And The Most Irresponsible Journalist Award Goes to The Politico’s Jonathan Martin!
So tell me, how do you write a “news” story about an organization paying for a speaker when you don’t even know if the organization is paying for the speaker?
Ask “journalist” Jonathan Martin. He knows all about it.
You see, Jonny wrote a piss poor story the other day about how the Iowa Family Policy Center will be paying a large speaker fee if Sarah Palin comes to Iowa to keynote the IFPC’s fall funderaiser.
The only problem is that Jonny has no sources confirming that any exorbitant fee is being charged or paid.
Jonny also got some inside info from David Kochel, who was a top aide to former (and future) presidential candidate, Mitt Romney.
Hey Dave, didn’t I just read a story about how Mitt Romney tried to buy off the Iowa Christian Alliance?
I heard you helped facilitate that little scheme. And somehow you are shocked at the thought of a well-known political figure (who very likely isn’t running for president) getting paid a speaker’s fee for (gasp) a public speaking appearance? ..
and then we’ve got Tim Albrecht quoted. He was the Iowa spokesman for Romney’s 2008 caucus campaign.”
And it always seemed like, whenever the Romney people had rumors they wanted to start about other candidates,
Jonny was their go-to guy to get those rumors in writing in front of a national audience.

"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign?
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the “Diva” leak was Nicolle Wallace’s husband."

Who benefits most from Sanford meltdown? Californian (that's right) Mitt Romney

"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"

What is this woman's name who keeps making these anonymous accusations?

What is she saying specifically that Herman did?

I'm sick and tired of these shrews.
