If you’re not capable of understanding what Cain said then you’re completely incapable of posting on this forum with any interesting insight.

What Cain said is only ambiguous to imbeciles.

I know of two incidents of women currently screaming sex harassment to move up the ladder or get somebody out.One had the nerve to say she was eyed up and down in the work place in her mini skirt. In the 90’s it was easy to scream sex harassment and get whatever you wanted with no witness.

Perry is the biggest mistake Texas has made since it decided it would be adjacent to Mexico.

I’ll say this for you. That is a good, civilized retort.

Perry is slime. I’m glad he has been outed on the backstabbing of Herman Cain.

I think we will see a couple of dropouts in the very near future.

This paves the way for Newt.

Maybe further debates will be more intelligent with the village idiot Perry and Mr.9-9-9 (a broken record) off the stage.

floridarunner01 is an Obama shill who is still beating his spouse.
He posts on Free Republic to make Romney the nominee so Obama can win.

If this was not so, he would prove it.

Cain has a settlement on harassment on record. This is fact.

No...this statement is a lie.
An organization that Mr. Cain worked for settled a claim against his alleged actions. It was not an admission of guilt - it was a settlement decided upon by the organizations' lawyers.

There is a difference.

Is it really technically called a "harassment settlement", or is it a settlement?

According to what I heard on Rush this afternoon, it was neither. It was actually reported as a "severance agreement."

One thing we do know. Whoever is responsible for leaking this had knowledge of the fact it was settled and that part of that was it was not supposed to be talked about.

Perfect situation for an opponent. The insinuation stands. Cain gets the trouble and the accuser does not get any scrutiny.

The Restaurant Association should allow the woman to speak and then we get to know who the person is that made the complaint.

If she does not reveal herself, we have to believe the charge wasn’t much of a charge, or that she is a person known to file claims like this.

It wouldn’t be called a “harassment settlement”.

In my understanding, no complaint was actually filed w/ the courts. Otherwise, the complaint would be public record.

This seems like an internal company settlement. In typical settlements, there are statements to the effect of “neither party admits wrongdoing.” Also, in the language of settlement documents, there isn’t any allegations or description of events listed. It usually consists of only monetary and privacy terms.

It doesn’t matter who is behind “leaking” the allegations. The bottom line: Are they true?

No, that is not the bottom line in politics.

Ya see, in politics/media it does not matter if an allegation is actually true. The damage is done by the allegation itself, once disseminated, the damage is hard to control, or "put back in the bottle" if you will.

It does matter who leaked, because whoever leaked, clearly had a motive, and the question would be, was the motive honorable or only meant to undermine Cain. Motive is everything and would raise credible legitimate questions regarding motives. Such as was this concocted by several people

We have an incompetent MORON in the W.H. that seems intent on ruining the U.S.A.

And you are right.... We are playing right into the hands of the dems...by attacking our own. This is exactly the game plan of the Obamanistas and we are falling for it.

I can tell you how to clear the air. Just tell the truth. No spinning, just the truth. He knew about this for over a week, and if he actually did not recall the details, that is time enough to dig them up and cough up the truth.

Here’s the latest:

The leakers are purported to be two guys who formerly worked for Cain at the Restaurant Association and in his 2004 Senate campaign.

Turncoats—traitors—punks: welcomed with open arms by the Perry campaign.

Cain has enough funds to hire someone else.

He should have dumped his entire team, and hired a seasoned crew the day after he won the Florida Straw Poll. BIG mistake. The entire response to this bullcrap would have been different. Too late. It's a mess. God help the GOP.

I would definitely be interested in who leaked the story. That party is usually subject to an immediate default judgement for x amount of dollars, along w/ recovery of the payout (if it was the plaintiff).
