It is my personal opinion that we don’t need laws to micromanage the laws that exist.
I completely agree and I'm convinced that Mr. Bird's murderers would have gotten the same (much deserved) penalty with our without a hate crime charge.
Perry believes the same and he has taken aim at ridiculous legal action with the tort reform. Right now it’s based on medical lawsuits, but it sets a legal precedence.
We're just now seeing the tort reform come into play.
