I get your point, but you’re missing my point. Securities fraud is a crime, but the SEC will prosecute it half the time in a civil proceeding. Does that mean a firm found guilty of civil securities fraud didn’t break the law? Breaking the law is a crime, civil or criminal. Election law gets prosecuted in civil court. Does that mean a congressman stealing campaign cash from his campaign didn’t commit a crime? Yes he committed a crime. But he’ll most likely face a fine. Sexual harassment is a crime, even if it’s handled in a federal civil court.

A crime is an act that is in violation of the law where a punishment is imposed once one is found guilty.

Your mistake is thinking that sexual harassment is a federal crime. It’s not. There are no common law federal crimes.

Securities fraud is a federal crime and also a civil violation.

I want Cain to show me he has a stronger organization.

With this current dust-up, they look like a bunch of rank amateurs.

They would be torn to bits by Obama’s henchmen in a Presidential campaign.

Let them all man up and tell the MSM “Go to hell. We’re not discussing any more bimbo eruptions. Period. Exclamation point!”

Eat your own damn words, buddy. Perry will reap what he sows with that statement.

Wow, angry a bit? Women are making accusations, so far we don't know if they are true or not. It's not my fault, and it's not Perry's fault, or Romney's or Bachmann's, etc., etc. The Cain campaign seems to be backing off yesterday's Perry accusations. Sometimes it's best to wait for the facts instead of jumping to conclusions when rumors are rampant. What was that you said about eating words?

Sorry, hon, but Cain just said on Hannity he firmly believes it was Perry and is NOT backing off.

As for Perry, his numbers are below Ron Paul's, so he has the most to gain from this (well, according to his supporters who falsely believe Cain people will flock to Perry).

I don’t know why you seem so hostile, but I am not your “hon” or your “buddy.” There was a time when you had thoughtful posts and respected the dignity of others.

Why don’t you go back and read the trail again, then? I called out a freeper for quoting Perry, knowing full well those words would be used against him.

Rintense, I don’t have a problem with a difference of opinion. I have a problem with the hostility and rudeness of your response and I will apologize that I was sharper in my response to you than I should have been. This site is imploding with an absolute lack of respect for others and intolerance for different opinions.

“Something most of us Texans have known for a decade. Never judge a governor solely by the success of his state. Remember Huckabee in 2008.”

Too true.

I’m sorry, but why would telling someone they are the same height as one’s spouse be harassment? Maybe the woman ASKED how tall his wife was and he told her. I hate how the lawyers and money-grabbing clients look for insults and lawsuits under every rock.

“I bet that hand was a lot lower.”

Bet it wasn’t, and bet the woman made up the story of anything more “suggestive.”
