Who would you vote for if Newt wins the primary?
Obama? Why?
“Get real. You know why some people dont want Newt. He has sold them out before and we dont want to lose our country.”
Yeah, we want four more years of this Kenyan hopey changey thing. That’ll teach Newt a thing or two.
C’mon. You got no one else who can beat Obama. No one.
Not in a GENERAL election. They have all done themselves in...except Mitt. And you think America is gonna elect Mitt? Two words....snowball...hell.
Personally I’d prefer Newt/Willkie.
The debate stage matters more than ever before -- and on that stage, Newt is the best. The future of the Republic is at stake. And that is why Gingrich is in the top tier to stay. This election is a full half century after the Kennedy/Nixon debates. In all that time, the importance of debates has grown election by election until now it is key.
Newt will shred Obama in the debates.
No one else will come close.
End. Of. Story.
Newt strikes me as a sort of Benjamin Franklin type.
Very smart, speaks well, loves the ladies, portly, plays with ideas on both sides of the political spectrum, makes money from affiliations with the government (post office in Franklin’s case).
When the chips were down and it was time to choose Franklin sided against the crown and was a patriot.
Although far from perfect I think Newt would do whatever was needed to help us prosper. I don’t think he would ever fail to come to the aid of Israel either.
We could do worse...much worse :-(
like Mitt...just ewww
Thanks. I think I’ll take you up on that. :)
Here here!
pretty speechesThat's funny.
Hint: I'm not laughing WITH you.
Who cares.
Not you. Not me. I guess nobody.
Are you assuming I am for Mitt? As usually, the RINO intellect decides.
Good for you. I hope you and Newt will be very happy.
Your posts have a silly kitty sound to them.
Are you?
In some respects, Newt is more liberal than Romney, if you take the time to analyze some of his past performances. He sided with Hillary on Health Care and, of course, he joined Nancy Pelosi in “the fight” against man-made global warming.
Sure, he is the best debater and he would destroy Obama in any matchup, but debates alone, don’t win an election.
Newt certainly has his baggage and the problems with that will surely be spotlighted if his rise continues, which I think highly likely.
You bring up a great point - namely that Newt is extremely articulate and knowledgeable and is able to express himself in a cogent manner. I wish I could say that about the others but I simply can’t. Perry doomed himself at the debates - if you can’t hack it in friendly, he sure as heck couldn’t handle one against Obama. As for Cain, I really like him but his lack of prep on some pretty basic questions doesn’t bode well. Apart from Romney, who we all agree we don’t want, who else do you really think could rhetorically gut Obama?
Fight the good fight, but in the end I think it will come down to Newt and Romney for the nomination.
Like him. And he’s on twitter. ;-)
