They are old gals now..getting grizzled.

Enjoy them!

I had to put down my 14 year old black lab "Abbi" 3 weeks ago. She was a great dog. Still have my yellow lab.

It was talked about. I think we can cook him in the one we have. It’s going to have to be overnight starting tomorrow night so that he’s done by noon(ish) on turkey day.

What Your Thanksgiving Meal Says About You
When it comes to the holidays, you follow and love the big traditions. You look forward to them every year.

You see the holidays as a time to think about what's important to you. It's a good time to reflect and regroup.

You like the aspects of the holiday that remind you of your childhood - opening presents, treats, and old favorite foods.

During the holidays, you are likely to feel comforted. At your worst, you feel a bit over-indulgent.

You consider yourself to be a bit of a purist, and you're proud of it.

You tend to spend your holidays doing everything and anything. You really get into the holiday spirit.

Bad Birds...
A young man named John received a parrot as a gift. The parrot had a bad
attitude and an even worse vocabulary.
Every word out of the bird’s mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with
profanity. John tried and tried to change the bird’s attitude by
consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else
he could think of to ‘clean up’ the bird’s vocabulary.

Finally..., John was fed up and he yelled at the parrot. The parrot yelled back. John shook the parrot and the parrot got angrier and even more rude.
John, in desperation, threw up his hand, grabbed the bird and put him in the freezer. For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed.
Then suddenly there was total quiet. Not a peep was heard for over a minute.

Fearing that he’d hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the door to the freezer. The parrot calmly stepped out onto John’s outstretched arms and said “I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions.
I’m sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behavior.”

John was stunned at the change in the bird’s attitude.

As he was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in his behavior, the bird spoke-up, very softly, “May I ask what the turkey did?”

LOL - Normal Thanksgiving meal, Kathy; abnormal sense of humor.

Thanks for the welcome!

I'm a Nav vet, and a young man that I have come to know through my two sons is USMC currently serving in trashcanistan. God bless and keep our troops!

Is that Ice Cream between the squash and turkey?!? Where are the greens? tisk!
