President Obama's slow ride down Gallup's daily presidential job approval index has finally passed below Jimmy Carter, earning Obama the worst job approval rating of any president at this stage of his term in modern political history.
Since March, Obama's job approval rating has hovered above Carter's, considered among the 20th century's worst presidents, but today Obama's punctured Carter's dismal job approval line. On their comparison chart, Gallup put Obama's job approval rating at 43 percent compared to Carter's 51 percent.

This should make Carter’s day.
Sitting out the election, or voting third party, are not “votes for Obama”. They are only votes for the people who the voter fills in the bubble next to. And if I refuse to vote for a moderate, I have not given Obama a vote, I have taken one away for a wolf in sheep’s clothing.I will not throw my vote away by voting for Romney. Period. And I’m not the only one. THAT is the reality.
I agree with you totally, and something tells me we aren’t the only ones.
When we continue to support moderates in the general because they are the lesser of 2 evils, all we do is empower the elite to keep sending them our way. I want to try something different this time - let the moderate RINO get trounced in the election by the liberals (a minority in the country). Then maybe the elites will understand that we wont choose to go over the cliff slower, but we want to change directions. No vote for Romney, no way.
I heard the same ‘we won’t survive 4 more years’ when Clinton was re-elected. We survived, and we will survive 4 more years of Obama if Romney is ‘our’ choice. The hole we will have to climb out of will be deeper, but Romney will not get us out of this hole, he will just dig slower.

I actually dont think it’s the media that killed the conservative candidates. We did it. Because conservatives are looking to hard for a perfect candidate that doesnt exist in this field.
It’s not the media’s fault a true, electable conservative didnt even throw their hat in the ring. Instead we all tried to mold the current field to be conservative. And in the end we knocked out everyone. Now Romney has an easy path. Notice how he’s layed low for most of the summer and fall? He knew the conservatives will tear each other apart.
Well, voting in folks who are willing to install the Left’s agenda for them sure hasn’t moved mountains for us.
Our only course of action, is to nominate good people. If we can’t do that, then toss in the towel. It makes little difference who we vote in.
Note: An agreement was made between Republicans and Democrats that the military would take a hard hit if the committee couldn’t agree to cuts.
The Left got just what they wanted all along. The Republicans agreed to it in advance.
One thing is certain, if we continue to play the game as we have been, this nation is done.
The misery index when Carter started was 12.72 and 19.72 when he left for a +7. The average month during Carter's reign was 16.26.
The misery index when Obama started was 7.83 and currently is 12.53, or +4.7. The average month during Obama's reignis 10.72.
The misery index when GW Bush started was 7.93 and 7.39 when he left for a -.54. The average month during Bush's reign was 8.11.
BTW, Reagan entered with a 19.33 and exited with a 9.72 for a whopping -9.61, the best turnaround in modern history.

A vote for anyone except someone who has the possibility of actually pushing Obama out of office is throwing away your vote. Period. Using caps doesn't make your fiction truth.
This is a wish that has nothing to do with reality.
The Tea Party got candidates elected, Palin's popularity is undeniable, the most recognizable Republican voices in America are all conservative--none of this has gotten us a great conservative in the race.
Letting Romney lose, though, will result in the RNC suddenly waking up and saying 'Oh WOW! We should push CONSERVATIVES!"
When have these 'sit at home on election day' messages ever actually achieved conservative goals?
If Romney loses, the RNC will think 'Well, it's hard to defeat a sitting president,' or, worse, 'Them damn conservatives can't be counted on, why should we support them?"
If you were in charge of the RNC, and the country clubbers stayed home and led to your conservative candidate losing, would YOU suddenly say "Hey, I'd better get out there looking for good country club Republicans?"
Your comment discounts everything you know about human nature, if you think about it.
I've never seen these kinds of messages do a thing. Pushing hard for a conservative candidate, and then pushing for whoever the general candidate is and telling him 'We expect this, this and this from you' gives them a reason to want to please.
Sitting at home makes you invisible on election day. Which would make Obama happier--you voting for whoever opposes him, or you staying home?

It taught most of the country a lesson, too: and that lesson is - LISTEN when socialists/communists tell you what they are going to do to you. They actually do MEAN it.
We’re seeing what happens when we let “RINO moderates” - “traitors” for simplicity’ sake - run and control our party.
A liberal is a liberal, whether it has an “R” or a “D” or an “I” after it’s name. And it is the enemy. Always, and without exception.
If they get their way, ultimately, they will attempt to kill us all to create their Utopian wet dream world.
