BREAKING!! Aide: Herman Cain will stay in the race
The State Column ^ | Nov 29, 2011 | Staff

After reports surfaced Tuesday morning that pizza magnate Herman Cain is reassessing his 2012 Republican presidential nomination bid, POLITICO obtained a statement from a Cain campaign spokesman regarding his candidates’ consideration of dropping out of the race.

“Yes,” the campaign spokesman said Tuesday when asked whether Cain would “definitely” remain in the race.

The clarification comes after the National Review Online released statements that Cain made in a conference call with campaign aides Tuesday morning. During the call, Cain made the following statements, “We have to do an assessment as to whether or not this is going to create too much of a cloud, in some people’s minds, as to whether or not they would be able to support us going forth,” Cain said.

The problem with Newt, and with many of the other candidates, is that they are professional politicians and THOSE are the jokers who have gotten us into the mess we are in as a Nation. They go to Washington, or to their State Capitols, and they make deals, they schmooze, they compromise and I'm here to tell you, that it is the COMPROMISING that has brought us to the edge of whether we survive or not as a society.

Sure, Newt is the smartest guy in the room, he debates well, he presents his arguments convincingly but he remains PART OF THE PROBLEM because he is just as immersed in that inside-the-Beltway culture as his peers are.

That's it exactly. You have too remember this about Newt's debating skills as well. Hillary Clinton can also do Conservative talk in a Conservative venue. IF Newt had simply ran for governor and sat in that office for four years reestablishing himself as a conservative I would consider him based on that record. Newt's Conservative credentials by his own recent {meaning Post-Congress} actions STINK!!!! What has he done too prove anything? I don't trust the man.

Cain said China was close to getting nukes. I dont care if the man stays in or drops out...he will lose just like he lost the senate race in Georgia. He is toast.

Vague...but I doubt it.

Well, you're new here, so perhaps it is a bit vague to you. If you last long enough, you'll figure it out.

HERMAN CAIN: I do view China as a potential military threat to the United States.

JUDY WOODRUFF: And what could you do as president to head that off?

HERMAN CAIN: My China strategy is quite simply outgrow China. It gets back to economics. China has a $6 trillion economy and they’re growing at approximately 10 percent. We have a $14 trillion economy — much bigger — but we’re growing at an anemic 1.5, 1.6 percent. When we get our economy growing back at the rate of 5 or 6 percent that it has the ability to do, we will outgrow China.

And secondly, we already have superiority in terms of our military capability, and I plan to get away from making cutting our defense a priority and make investing in our military capability a priority, going back to my statement: peace through strength and clarity. So yes they’re a military threat. They’ve indicated that they’re trying to develop nuclear capability and they want to develop more aircraft carriers like we have. So yes, we have to consider them a military threat.

What part of “They’ve indicated that they’re TRYING to develop nuclear capability” dont you understand?

Where is his credentials, what has he done other than run a Pizza joint???

Herman Cain exhibits exemplary character and lifetime achievement. He has risen to the top of his every endeavor. His resume speaks for itself: Navy rocket scientist; computer Coca Cola systems analyst; Pillsbury VP of Corporate Data Systems & Services; business manager over 400 Burger Kings; CEO, owner of Godfather’s Pizza; chairman, National Restaurant Association; Federal Reserve advisor; chairman, Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank; writer, public speaker, radio host, associate minister, faithful husband, and father.

Are you really that uninformed?

If the GOP nominee is a RINO, there won't be much difference between what is going on right now with Comrade 0bama and the faux-Republican statist-puppet, it'll be like choosing between botulism and salmonella, they're both likely to kill ya.

I hear ya', couldn't agree more.

So I suppose I write in the name of some dumb ass, what's your name anyhow?

ROFLMAO. Great line my friend.

B-but-but South Park said the Mormons are the correct religion http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WnsLzHYRtts
(major sarc)

Actually, Newt will have to face some scrutiny since he supposedly converted from Southern Baptist (Protestantism) to Roman Catholicism and should have to answer questions that he will not come under the authority of Rome similar to JFK. I’m still trying to figure this conversion out because it’s much more common for Catholics to become Protestants than the other way around if the Protestant actually holds true to Biblical Doctrine.

What's wrong with the formatting?

It wasn't the formatting bothering Eaker, but the truth.

Sometimes it hurts!

No you will not be alone, for the first tiem in my life, I will donate money to a candidate. I am very unhappy with Republicans who refuse to stand up and demand that either concrete evidense be presented or else. Instead they are dumping him off the boat.

You’d be just as likely to convince a clintonite that Bill was not “counselling” Monica. Can’t you see by the context that what Cain was really saying is “The chinese are trying to develop nuclear weapons on Pluto, which they don’t have yet.” Can’t you see that?

Yes he did, and he was a total loser.

I don't want a politician, or even someone with lots of political experience.

I do want an honorable intelligent man/woman who is a leader and shares my principles.

I'm not trying to hire a glib talker with overly complex plans that will never work, I want a problem-solver.

In short, I want Cain!

No he DIDN’T say they were “close to getting nukes” as in nuclear weapons and there have been many discussions on this on FR: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2801429/posts

You know this. Everyone knows this. Do you believe you are fooling anyone? My post to you confirms he knew China had nuclear weapons. Why continue to lie? You have shot your credibility more than once on FR.
