My Dad Has Graduated from this life about 22:00 Mountain Time. All: THX TONS 4 Prayers

My Blood Dad is dying in great pain.

He has broken his hip the 3rd time. His vitals are too poor to operate.

They don't even know if they can move him at all due to the great pain.

He has reportedly made his peace with God and forgiven everyone.

Please pray that he graduates from this life as painlessly and quickly as The Lord would wish for him.

Sigh. BIG SIGH.

This is mother's birthday and the day her father died.

Sigh.

I know some prayer threads are in this forum. If this is not fitting, please move it where it is.

I'm more than a little discomboobalated.

Ahhhh, am so happy to hear how it all was at the end and yes, I KNOW your dad heard every word. Couldn’t respond but the important thing is he KNEW you were all there and in his mind probably read along with your sister. No thanks needed for our prayers. We’re just happy he will be celebrating the birth of Jesus right there in Heaven. How great is that??????? Enjoy your Christmas celebration becasue you know your dad surely will and... you WILL meet again one day and what a joyous reunion that will be.

Remember, we sorrow not as others who have no hope. Our hope is in Christ our Lord and I join with you in praising the Lord that your Dad has gone home. This life we have on earth seems so long especially when we are young, yet the older we get the faster it seems to zip by. This life will be but a blip, not even a blip, compared to eternity. I have a good feeling we will remember where we once were and we will rejoice forevermore that we have eternity to be together praising our Creator and Father, our Lord and Savior. I pray that you can now rest easy knowing that Dad is not suffering anymore but is gazing at the face of Jesus right this very moment.

Dearest Quix,
I am so sorry to hear this. You have my most sincere condolences.
Even when we have some warning it’s still so very hard to go through the passing of a loved one. It is especially hard to lose one’s parent.
I and my entire family send you our love, condolences and prayers. We rejoice for your father in Heaven with THE Father, but we include in our prayers his loved ones and friends who miss him. I pray you all find peace, joy, and strength through your joyful memories of him.

Quix, the fact that there was no struggle with your birth dad’s passing is wonderful! He is with Him!!!

Quix...very sad for you in this hour. Grief comes and goes and you can feel like you’re on a roller coaster. Even so I think of the scripture..”Oh death where is thy sting”...because Jesus took the ‘sting out’...and we can lay that “sting” before him for that. You’ll still have sadness of course...but nothing we would otherwise know were it not for Christ.

May you be fully enveloped with his Love and tenderness these next days and weeks Quix... I know that you are and will be.
