The Lord, as The Apostle Paul clearly specifies, has not cast off Israel.
Greenfield endorses Ron Paul's proposed Israeli aid cutoff?
Apparently he has no problem with discussing foreign aid. This article was his effort to clarify that Ron Paul is anti-Israel, and that opposing foreign aid isn’t what makes Paul anti-Israel.
I get that the article you shown above makes the allegation that Paul is anti-Israel. However it doesn't really sync up with the interview on newmax with him, straight from the horses mouth. I personally really would like to stop giving Israels enemies my tax dollars and weapons as Paul suggests we should in his interview. I also don't like it when every president makes a show of trying to make peace in the middle east by demanding Israel do this or that or modify thier boarders. Which is what he is saying when he says we shouldn't try to be thier masters...
CJ, I did read the article, but, the same as with Romney, Paul’s past contradicts everything he’s saying in Newsmax.
I’ll ping you to a new thread that deals with more of Paul’s anti-semitism.
Ron Paul supporters will clamor that... the Ron Paul Survival Report... was... written for years by some mysterious stranger pretending to be Ron Paul. This unknown stranger discussed his time in Congress, his medical career and his wife Carol all in the first person. That the media actually bought this ridiculous explanation, even while actual Republicans were lynched for much less than writing in support of David Duke, should tell you all you need to know about Paul's cheerleaders in the mainstream media... In an interview with Iranian television, Ron Paul complained that the president had not said anything to Israel about its horrible massacre, compared Gaza to a concentration camp, and made it rather clear that he sympathized with the terrorists. It wasn't some unknown mysterious stranger signing Paul's name to hateful screeds. It was the man himself doing an interview with the agents of a murderous regime responsible for the murders of numerous Americans. What about the following statement in the House of Representatives? "Bin Ladenâs claims are straightforward. The U.S. defiles Islam with military bases on holy land in Saudi Arabia, its initiation of war against Iraq, with 12 years of persistent bombing, and its dollars and weapons being used against the Palestinians as the Palestinian territory shrinks and Israel's occupation expands. There will be no peace in the world for the next 50 years or longer if we refuse to believe why those who are attacking us do it." Ron Paul isnât calling for impartiality or agitating for non-interventionism because he supports Jewish self-reliance, but because he believes that Israel is the source of our problems.
As much of a whack job that Ron Paul is you certainly have to admit that with him he lays it all out on the table for all to see.
On the contrary, the point is very arguable.
Germany's neighbors punished and humiliated that country with the harsh conditions set forth in the Treaty of Versailles. THAT, is what set Europe on the path to WWII, not America's participation in the First World War.
Hitler didn't declare war on the United States until after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. He'd already been making war against his European neighbors for years, at that point.
Funny how the Blame America Firsters always twist history to make America the bad guy.
That's fair. All of that money sshould be brought home.
Thank you oh so very much for your encouragements, dear brother in Christ!
A little known factoid from history, America was carrying on a undeclared military action against the Japanese, before Pearl Harbor. We outfitted, and supplied planes, pilots and other personnel, to the Chinese. Our men actually bombed sovereign Japanese territory, flying planes with Chinese insignias, but make no mistake, they were American servicemen. The Flying Tigers, were war criminals, but since we won the war, and wrote the history, they are heroes. Chew on that a bit.
No, the modern nation of Israel was founded by men, looking to redraw the map of the middle east. God has His hands in everything that happens between nations, but the United Nations is behind the formation of the modern nation. When YHVH brings the NATIONS back to his promised land, as promised, it will be by a mighty hand, not some tin pot dictator majority vote. That is neither here nor there. Israel is our friend, perhaps our only friend in this region. We owe them thanks, we owe them help, but we do not owe them the lives or the hard earned dollars of our people. If they are attacked, we should back them in any way shape or form they need. Until then, we need to let them fly or fall on their own.
That's an odd disclaimer for someone who subsequently expends a thousand words, claiming just that.
Is America mistake free? Do we sometimes do bad things, with the intent to do good? Answer that honestly, and you will most likely agree with my view of this greatest country of all. It is important to look back, learn from our mistakes, and do better. That was the intention of the book by Pat Buchanan...IMHO. That is also the position, that I would take and demand that our government, and citizens should also. No more, and no less.
When Paul makes excuses for terrorists and their threats against Israel, when a majority of his supporters are rabid anti-Semitics, when he openly endorses (at sympathies with) OWS, disgusting anti-Semitics, there is no way to spin he is not anti-Israel and anti-Semitic.

I'd prefer to tell you and every other liberaltarian to KMA.
