I appreciate your thoughts about Gingrich. I just can’t bring myself to trust him. He’s Floppety Flip to Romney’s Flippety Flop. Maybe we’ll get lucky and he’ll trend right, or maybe he’ll get back in bed with his futurist lefty buddies. With Newt you just don’t know.

In November I’ll vote against Zer0 but that’s all I can promise.

That is the main thing.

Yes, Huntsman is conservative. He was staunchly conservative while governor of Utah. He’s actually second on my list of candidates.

All due respect my lady, I can dig no deeper then his voting record, and I admit he has not sounded like his record, but if Santorum fails, we must coalesce soon or we will allow the left to continue dividing and conquering us with the help from their propaganda coalition of the MSM, Hollywood, the Music Industry, and Major league Sports.

However, if Rick [Santorum]cannot pull out a win next Tuesday in Iowa, then I will begin to unabashedly support Newt Gingrich with a vengeance come January 4, 2012!

What if Perry wins Iowa, Santorum finishes third, and Gingrich finishes fourth. Will you still be backing Newt on Jan 4?

Tell me you still think that after reading this that was in a love letter he sent to Obama 2009,
“You are a remarkable leader…and it has been a great honor getting to know you. I have enormous regard for your experience, sense of history and brilliant analysis of world events."
To former president Clinton he wrote the same year,
"Please save some time for me when I’m next in New York. I must report that Sec. Clinton has won the hearts and minds of the State Dept. bureaucracy — no easy task. And after watching her in action, I can see why. She is well-read, hard working, personable and has even more charisma than her husband! It’s an honor to work with her.
Huntsman is a wolf in sheep's clothing, that governed conservative only because he had his feet held to the right by very conservative state senators and legislatures. Other wise he would have gotten in bed with his leftist friends in a heart-beat.

I can support Perry, but I see no sign of that, and remember, Perry will be a George Bush II. Study the Texas governorship, it is a very weak position. One of the weakest governors in the country is the Texas governors seat. The Lieutenant Governor of Texas has more power then the Governor does.

That is why George caved when the Democrats won congress, he was used to rubber stamping what ever went across his desk. Tell me how many bills he vetoed. You can count them on one hand I believe, and Perry is not much different.

However I can support him quicker then I can support Romney, Huntsman, or Paul. Which I will admit I may not vote for president if any of those three win the nomination, because I cannot vote for cultists, nor for a freak who would destroy our military and sell out Israel to the Muslims.

All that being said, I do not believe that Perry will get nearly as many votes as Santorum will get. I actually believe that Santorum is the dark horse that no one is paying attention to but the true conservatives who will be voting nest Tuesday. So do not be surprised if he wins.

I love Newt. Always have. He is a genius. He sees the “big picture” and can visualize how to put it all together to make it work. Almost everything bad you hear or read about him is not true. It is all embellished to make him sound bad by people who are campaigning for some one else. He is the only one I feel comfortable voting for.

All the power to you. I will not be as enthusiastic for voting for Newt. I will do it if I have to, but I won't be excited, especially since the newly minted President Newt will have his new global warming book hitting shelves as he is sworn in. I am still excited about Santorum though and really think he can do something in IA.

As I pretty much said about the same thing in comment #30 to Hoodat. Like I said, I like Santorum first, but Newt gets my support if he falls.

The respect is likewise sir and if we don’t further gut D.C. and keep installing/electing those that are not going to stand firm, all is lost.

You would think that the message we sent on 11/02/2010 was loud and clear but here we are again. However, we did manage to weed out some and we must continue to do so.

No settling. No Compromise.

I completely agree with this article. I want Perry to win, but Newt is a perfectly acceptable backup to me.

Whereas Romney or Paul (specially Paul) will have me vote third party for President.

As for the rest, they ain’t going to make it.

“If not Newt, it will be Mitt”.
NOt necessessarily,
Hopefully it will be a hung jury until the convention at which time maybe a REAL conservative will leap ahead of these RINO rubes.

With Sarah Palin out of the picture, and Cain’s body proverbially drug behind the MSM’s news truck, I am a Rick Santorum supporter. Unfortunately he has not been able to get past the snub of the MSM, which has basically blackballed his campaign. The MSM has not covered Rick, other than mentioning his name in passing as a contender. As my second choice, I am supporting Newt Gingrich. To me, Gingrich’s record speaks for itself. Very few politicians have a more conservative voting history than he does. In my 55 years on this planet, only a handful of politicians have done as much for the conservative movement while in office as Newt has.

This pretty much says it all. As far as I am concerned Santorum and Palin are the ideal conservative candidates. I agree with them 90-95%, but as my BIL pointed out Newt articulates the conservative message better then just about anyone. I also beleive that he has the chops to take on Barak "The One who needs telepropmtor to speak to 5th graders" Obozo in a live debate.

I’m also willing to pull for Gingrich, but only because I believe he’s conservative at his core. He’s made some mistakes, but who hasn’t?

If Newt wore a dog shock collar that gave him a reminder tingle every time he went lax against socialistic, communistic or marxist agendas then and only then would I support him.
