Judith Anne was admitted to the hospital the day after Christmas having suffered a serious stroke....

I am so sad to hear the news about your dear mother. I love Judith Anne and have had wonderful exchanges with her for years. I will pray that God protects her in every way and enfolds her in His merciful love. And prayers for your family as well.

I’m fairly certain that Judith Anne’s stroke is a result of her carotid artery blockage.
Both of my parents are in their 70’s and they both had the same thing. In Dad’s case his blockage was 85% and was deemed “emergency”. Dad’s situation was readily resected, scraped out and sutured.
Mom’s got her blockage much nearer to the collar bone and as such the surgeon is baffled how to handle such awkward condition. At present the plan is to “stent” Mom’s carotid and “hope for the best”.
your mother is an exceptional person. I will pray for here. May the good Lord keep her safe and under His care.

I think that is wonderful. You mother was a wonderful woman -- she shared with us her joy at being a greeter, about her struggles in life and also her joy.

Please bless Judith Anne with either a full recovery or a gracious trip into your arms, and hold her family in your caring hands during such a difficult time, providing all they need.
