Judith Anne was admitted to the hospital the day after Christmas having suffered a serious stroke....
Praise God for good mothers.
May she be find strength in Our Lord.
My Dear, Sweet Chantillie,
May the Peace of Christ envelop you and hold you while you go through the grieving. As one who lost a husband (Sionnsar) earlier this year I offer prayers for your comfort and the comfort of all your family at this time. May your heart be flooded with the warm and wonderful memories of your sweet mother who was to many of us a light in the darkness. As you adjust to life without her physical presence, may you experience the ineffable joy of knowing she is with God, His angels and all the saints who have gone before. Her welcome in Heaven is tremendous. And so will ours be when our time comes to cross Jordan. Blessed in the eyes of the Lord is the death of His saints. And may He give you the oil of joy for mourning.
I’m so sorry to hear this, Judith Anne is a great lady and we’ve communicated via private mail here on Free Republic over the years. I’m sure she’s been a great, great Mom. Prayers for you and your family.
I am so sorry to open FR tonight and find such sad news.
Judith Anne’s posts were always intelligent and thoughtful, and I certainly respected her as a fellow FReeper. Prayers for all of you in your loss, and may she now find rest and peace that this earth can never offer.

Our family went through this with my mother-in-law, the same type of stroke and the same results; brainstem functioning only.
It’s exhausting and stressful dealing with the grief. Just focus on what you need to do for yourself and your brother and relatives and don’t worry about being correct.
Praying for your dear mother and hoping the New Year will return her to good health and her family. God bless her and all who love her.

Sending more hugs, no need to apologize. Keep talking to your Mom as hearing is the last sense to go. CT and EEG aren’t perfect and best to talk as your voice will bring her peace on whatever level she can experience it. Your Mom is bringing so many people into prayer - that surely is a blessing for all.

No “sorry” is needed from you. Please accept my apologies for not having posted earlier, I just couldn’t. Your mom and you and your entire family has been in my prayers since I first learned. I just never know what to say.
Judith Anne was a dear forum FRiend to me. My heart goes out to you for what you are going through and God Bless YOU for caring so much to keep her other “family” up to date.

don’t worry about us misunderstanding. We also understand that this weighs heavily upon you, and all of us care about her from afar. Keep us up to date when possible, and we’ll keep praying for your mom, and for you.

I understood your post... We serve a God of miracles..Prayer for your mom and your family.. your mom and I often made each other ‘nuts” ...but she is a fine lady and I know a good mom and mother in law.. blessings and prayers to you
