Ron Paul picked up a major endorsement from an evangelical leader when Dr. James Linzey, president and founder of the Military Bible Association, endorsed the candidate.
Lizney, who served as a military chaplain for over 24 years and retired with an honorable discharge, has hosted Operation Freedom, a television program in Europe. Before founding the Military bible Association, he travelled the world as an evangelist.
In a statement to Congressman Paul declaring his endorsement, Lizney said, “Having thoroughly examined your political philosophy and finding that your platform is 100% in line with the Constitution of the United States of America, and examining your political record to find that you have consistently upheld the Constitution and thereby faithfully represented your constituency, and studying your statement of faith to find that your faith and religious experience is 100% compatible with Evangelical Christianity and Orthodox Christianity, I hereby endorse you for the Office of the President of the United States of America. I wish you Godspeed!"
He went on to say that while Texas governor, Rick Perry, was also an evangelical, the deciding factor for his endorsement was fidelity to the Constitution. “The tell-tale sign of being qualified for the presidency is not faith, but loyalty to the Constitution which defends the open expression of faith. Ron Paul seems to be the candidate most loyal to the Constitution according to the records.”
The endorsement could be a crucial one for Paul going into the South Carolina primary.
Some in the Christian community have taken issue with Paul's refusal to commit to reinstating the military’s ban on homosexuals serving openly.
Lizney says if evangelicals truly want ot make faith an issue in the campaign they should consider Paul’s personal testimony on his website where Paul says, “Let me be very clear here: I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, and I endeavor every day to follow Him in all I do and in every position I advocate."
Lizney said while he would support Romney if he eventually wins the nomination, he believes Paul is the better candidate because, while Romney may be an excellent debater, Paul argues from the standpoint of the Constitution.
The GOP is using this village idiot as a live target for dems, libertarians, and other whack-offs to vote for Paul and not conservatives like Perry, Santorum, Gingrich and others.
Who benefits? Mittens, of course.

Reading between DeMint’s lines, you can see his point that with gaining the Senate and holding the House, ANY POTUS is thus bound by the legislative and not the other way around.

What's even weirder... every time Ron's numbers go up, Mitt Romney's go up even more.
Weirder still... Ron Paul hasn't taken a single shot at the frontrunner in this race. Cain, Bachmann, Gingrich, Santorum? Check, check, check and check.
But not Mitt. When it comes to Romney, Mr. Constitution has been as sweet as a pussy cat. The first man in American history to require the purchase of a service as a condition of citizenship in a state, the most egregious assault on individual liberty the country had ever seen prior to Obama... and Ron Paul has the perp in his sights, standing next to him on the stage (14 times!) with the whole country looking on and... and... nothing. Nothing in the debates, not a single ad against him, not a word against him at his rallies. He couldn't even bring himself to take a shot at Mittens on Leno (he called him a "nice guy"). Nada. Even when he's polling in second place, Ron Paul targets the people behind him and ignores the frontrunner. How weird is that?!?
It's almost like he's part of some sort of... conspiracy. Alex Jones should look into this. The Bilderbergs may have gotten to him.

The strategy seems to be take out the weaker guys first.

Hey, Barack Obama only had two Weather Undergrounders backing him. In that light, 320 neo-Nazis (including their leader) sounds like a lot. Throw in David Duke, Lew Rockwell, Adam Kokesh, Jules Manson, Bill White, James von Brunn and Willis Carto and a pattern begins to emerge.
Unless you'd rather not see it. Then it doesn't. Why not? -- it worked for Obama supporters in 2008. Certainly Paul's supporters -- the flip side of the same coin -- can turn an equally blind eye to the neo-Nazi dregs coalescing around Dr. Paul.

Gov. Rick Perry is flying to Istanbul, Turkey, today to speak at the super-secret Bilderberg Conference, a meeting of about 130 international leaders in business, media and politics.
The invitation-only conference was started in 1954 and named for the Dutch hotel where the conference was first held. Those who attend promise not to reveal what was discussed, security is tight, and the press and public are barred.
The conference has been the subject of conspiracy theorists and even Christian groups who wonder about its influence.
Robert Black, the governor’s press secretary, said the governor was invited to attend and speak about state-federal relations. Mr. Black dismissed the conspiracy theories.

It appears to me RP and Gingrich have supporters that are emotionally invested in them.
RP clearly edges out Newt with more enthusiastic supporters.
Newt can win a debate, but he really needs to score a first or second in SC or it may be lights out.

Just putting it out there for Ron’s more ardent supporters. They know what Alex Jones said about Perry and the Bilderberg Group. And now they know that Alex Jones is a shrill, shrieking fraud.

I thought is was the Cindy Sheehan types who coalesce around Ron Paul. If we're going to swallow conspiracy theories, let's at least be consistent.
No, he'll wait until it benefits Soetoro. When he's running as a third party candidate. The ultimate goal is to get Barry his "gangsta-shit" term and finish this country off once and for all... and Ron's going to see to it that it happens.
It hard to believe that people can listen to Paul and not hear the utter burning hatred he has for this country. He's a madman and he's out for blood. But he's fooled a lot of people (mostly young) and he's going to do his damage. It is what it is.
