Marianne is NOT her Mother, that would be Jackie the first wife.

Gingrich’s first has opened the secret closet which stored all the trash and walled off since the 90’s. She broke down the door and is letting ABC go through it and pick and choose his tittybits .

Bottom line - it’s despicable of Drudge to attack Newt on lifestyle issues when Matt is harboring his own. I’m so sick of homosexual activists lashing out against Newt because he speaks the truth. Romney is a died in the wool RINO and proof positive is that sick closet cases like Drudge are willing to do anything to take down Gingrich.

BINGO! WE HAVE A WINNER!

Pray for America and Newt.

" Is Santorum a natural born citizen? His dad immigrated from Italy and naturalized at some point but was it before Rick was born? We need to know. "

Dr. Aldo Santorum served in the US Airforce from 1943 to 1946 , served during WWII and left the military with a honorable discharge.... he got his citizenship while in the military or before that..
Rick Santorum was born in 1958...

IIRC, Marianne Gingrich already gave a blistering interview for some national magazine some years ago. My memory of her is that she was fairly dowdy (that’s my memory from the time).

He may have been a cad, but she’s making herself look even worse, IMO. I’d never give anyone who dumped me the satisfaction of letting him/her know 10 years later just how badly I still hurt!

From Drudge:

Marianne Gingrich has said she could end her ex-husband's career with a single interview.

Any wonder they are divorced?

Geez ... from some of the comments, it seemed like he was sleeping with all three of them at the same time, or at least with some major overlaps. Your info seems to disprove that.

Very good reporting. I read the entire thing. And since I have experience in international trade I was interested to read it in detail as I know the personality types.

But I think Speaker Gingrich would have been quick to see that they were asking for a lift in the Embargo in exchange for an investment or donation or such, and he would have avoided it because he knew it was risky.

There are certain protocols to follow in politics to be able to survive. But still there are situations of unexpected entrapment or disastrous associations. Speaker Gingrich was surviving the most intense assaults from Dems in Congress. Your linked report shows the Clinton Justice Department was likewise politically motivated to nail Newt at all costs. Because they dropped it as soon as they realized the impeachment of Clinton would render Newt as the power in Washington.

That Newt survived the mud and stink inside the District of Corruption and is still standing to inspire people of his vision of America and to articulate Conservative values shows he has grit and courage. I think we need him as President.

Marianne who was apparently later diagnosed with MS is sore at her former husband because he was needing her to be an active partner and she didn’t have it in her to keep up with him, that much is clear from her quotes in the writeup at your link, e.g. “She let him attend a book deal on his own”, why alone? etc.

I think Marianne’s sour grapes will not deter Newt from winning the Presidency. Too many of us have shared the tribulations of money problems, difficult spouses, demanding responsibilities and so on. We are no longer Puritans but we Conservatives still believe in liberty and that is what is important.

I find Marianne to be an unsympathetic character independent of my bias now for Newt because she is reported to say now that “she doesn’t believe he should be President”. Whether or not someone is or has been close to Newt Gingrich I have to ask such people the question “as opposed to whom? Obama? Romney?” Because she would say such a thing shows her grievance is petty unless she had incontrovertible evidence that he was a pedophile or a spy for Al Queda etc. In other words, she has nothing.

Newt is soaring in the polls after his debate performance this past Monday. This hit piece is timed to make sure he doesn't win South Carolina on Saturday.

Exactly!

The news media wants Romney to get the nomination because:

1. He will lose to Obama.
2. He will sell out conservatives about 5 minutes after election day.
3. If 1 or 2 fails, the media will still be able to ROLL HIM.

“It’s Newt. This is who he is. He’s a psychologically needy person, and this has led him to fulfill his basest desires with little thought for morality.”

The problem with the adultery isn’t the sex, it’s the betrayal. Someone who will betray the person who should be their closest friend is willing to betray pretty much anyone.
