Vanity: Has Ann Coulter Taken Over The Drudge Report?
Drudge Report ^ | 1/24/11 | me

I know that Drudge hired Romneybots Joe Curl and Charles Hurt to help him with his election coverage for 2012. But looking at the hysteria going on at the Drudge Report right now, it looks like Ann Coulter has joined Curl and Hurt in running the site. What the heck is going on over there?

They were an item and always friends. I think there were rumors that Drudge is homosexual. I know the accusations were there about 5 years ago or more. Drudge keeps a very low profile.

I think you’re exactly right. Moreover, I find the attacks on Ann and Drudge to be ridiculous. Let’s just stipulate that it’s ok to have different opinions without being called a “fag” or a “fag hag.”

The Democrats have to pick the candidates for both parties. Follow the money. The Democrats have to win so they can keep robbing the public treasury. And they consider it a good return-on-investment to buy mouthpieces for themselves.

I tend to feel the same way. I always viewed Drudge as an objective and neutral source in the Journalism industry, but every time I go over there now, I see anti Newt and pro Romney articles 24/7.

Ann was on Red Eye this AM. She was a raving loony, about Newt, during Half Time with Andy Levi. He couldn’t wait to get her off the air.

I gave Drudge the benefit of the doubt until yesterday but then clearly saw his bias against Newt. Now I’m hearing he has hired two Romney workers (who are also anti-Sarah) to assist with election coverage.

The future has arrived quicker than I had hoped. The elite ones are closing down news coverage in this country rapidly. I wonder when Drudge sold out for good.

Sad, because I have relied on the Drudge website but will now turn elsewhere for news updates. But...where?

I'm not a Mittbot, if that's what you're asking. But I'm also not a Romney hater. He has pluses and minuses. I'm not a Gingrich hater. He has pluses and minuses. I'm not a Santorum hater. He has pluses and minuses. I'm not a Ron Paul hater. He has pluses and minuses.

Two years ago, on this site, it was utter sacrilege to even suggest that there was the merest possibility that Sarah Palin would not be the 2012 GOP nominee. If anyone offered even the slightest opinion that Sarah might not run, and if she ran she might not win, someone would declare that poster a "Mittbot" and a hell storm of fury would descend upon that poster.

I've been a registered Republican since I was old enough to vote, and my vote in the primary never meant a tinker's damn, because the nomination had always been sewn up by the time I cast my ballot. So I'm in the habit of watching the nomination process unfold without having much say in the outcome.

I noticed that too. I was finally able to get the bottom link to take me to http://www.thedailybeast.com/newsweek/2012/01/22/george-soros-on-the-coming-u-s-class-war.print.html , where I read (among other things) Soros telling what I believe is the democrat game plan, including riots and Obama trying to sell the need to tax the rich. Now I read this morning that Obama’s SOTU address is going to talk about.... (drum roll) the need to tax the rich!

If the puppets obey that command of the master, is there any question whether they will obey the other command Soros gave in that article?

Buckle in; it’s going to be a very bumpy ride.

If I were planing to be a “sleeper” agent, I would be a supporter of my enemy’s cause when it didn’t make a difference, and then having made a reputation for myself over the years, when I could make a difference, I would act in the interest of my true cause. Subtle at first, and more urgently when things got really critical.

Drudge and Ann could be sleepers. It’s possible. Maybe.

If they are, and they are acting desperately, than this means that we are at an important point in the battle, and now is when we have to make our maximum effort.

Just for the record, I do not believe any of the conspiracy theories out there, except for the commie/socialist/parasite conspiracy. That one is certain.

The new Drudge guys Curl and Hurt really seem to hate Sarah (based on their previous articles). And it looks like they’ve instituted a news blackout on her on the Drudge Report. Very sad that Matt Drudge has decided to let Curl and Hurt destroy his website and credibility.

This is what Coulter and Drudge hugely support.

Mitt Romney is Corrupt

I'm suprised that Drudge is becomming part of the establishment, but Ann, well not really.

Drudge has been my Homepage for Firefox for almost a decade... Then I would come to FR after I went through those stories.

I guess I will have to change my Homepage to FR and come directly here. I have been very irritated at the (leftward) slant I’ve noticed it going for the past couple of months.

I think both Ann (gimmeasamitch) and Drudge (iainttoogayamI) are kinda pissed at the fact that their brand of political corespondence is rapidly coming to an end.

Both of their 15 minutes are SO OVER !!!

Look at what the establishment did after O’Donnell won the primary.

You're right. I still hear some fervent anti-Newt people railing against O'Donnell to this day. Yet, those same people will never mention the "acceptable" candidates like Linda McMahon or Meg Whitman who also lost.

Someone recently compared the "Mitt Is Most Electable" crowd to the John Kerry supporters in 2004. Their skewed polling and twisted logic told them that Kerry won the election before the votes were even cast. Then, when the votes were actually counted, they screamed fraud.

If you're going to use the "electability" argument, it should be used with someone who actually has a track record of winning elections. And even then, you should take it with a grain of salt.

What are his pluses? I don't see one in his record as governor.
