AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

I like the Noot people. I have several friends who are Noot people. ;) LOL.

We don’t need people to tell us what to think, we need principles to define how we analyze candidates. I admire several people who have decided to back candidates that left me scratching my head. I don’t jump onboard with that candidate and I don’t hate the person I admire for making a decision I don’t agree with.

I think we’re lazy, as a culture, when it comes to politics. Quickest soundbyte wins. Endorsements by “popular” people wins. I keep hoping we grow beyond this, but instead we seem to rapidly resort to this behavior more quickly than in the past, each election cycle. Heck it’s not even February yet. :(

they can’t refute the facts about what rush is discussing

so they are looking to cast doubt on rush by questioning his ‘motivations’

liberal diversion tactic

might work if they could back it up

They blamed Conservatives when McCain lost ...don't you remember??? ...and most of us (myself included) held our noses and dutifully voted for him ...mostly because of Gov Palin in my case. They will blame us again when Romney loses.

McCain lost because those vaunted moderates whose asses that McCain and the GOP elites live to kiss voted for Obama.

the CT SS# has been out there for a couple of years and I’ve wondered why no issue is made of it - figured there must be ‘no issue’.

I can’t help but wonder if the Establishment gets their way and we end up with Romney, and he gets clobbered by Obama in November, what will they say then? Will they admit they were wrong? Or will they just try to blame the Tea Party?

SUre they will. Just as they owned McCain's dismal effort.

No. Wait.

That was Bush's fault.

-— Getting the truth out. Much of this is also documented with audio and video clips. As Rush said until this all hit today, he had no idea any of this was taking place. I also think he’s preparing us for what’s coming from the liberals not only about Newt, but about anyone else who’s going up against Obama.——

None of which amounts to a hill of beans. Mariane was their best hope. Now they’re unloading what little they have left.

Actually, IIRC, McCain’s aides immediately came out and blamed Sarah Palin.

Rush is talking about bank re-financing. It is happening, but not without qualifying, at least not at Wells Fargo.

We have been receiving offers to re-fi our mortgage at 3.85% on a thirty year loan, but the qualifying is tighter than ever. It’s a pain, but it’s a half percentage point lower than what we had.

Some of the less reputable mortgage companies that we have received offers from might not be as strict.

Wells Fargo is paying 4% on the savings, so the 3.85% is pretty good.

Just because you’ve decided you’ve finished your vetting of Noot, doesn’t mean everyone else has to come to that decision. Being angry at others’ who’ve not come to your conclusion would make you a blind follower.

I don’t begrudge you settling on your candidate; don’t begrudge someone else for not coming to that conclusion yet.
I think the more vetting that happens in the primary, the better. Makes those October surprises a little less shocking. Perhaps that was our mistake with Obummer - we got all his negatives out in the open too early. (slightly tongue in cheek comment above)

Again, not every supporter of every candidate is a blind follower, and if you’ve taken that away from what I’ve said then I apologize. There are blind followers of EVERY candidate; “bots” if you will, who merely parrot every talking point, without thought, of their cult leader.

I resent when people refuse see the flaws that each candidate has. I resent the Mittbots who insist that Romneycare isn’t a flaw, I resent the Nootbots who insist that his constant misappropriation of his own history isn’t a flaw, I resent the Santorum folk who insist his inability to get more votes isn’t a flaw and I resent the Paulbots for their inability to be rational about anything remotely regarding Paul. I’m an equal opportunity vat of resentment when it comes to politicians, which, at their heart, is what each of these guys are. They are each career politicians, and dishonest by nature. “Trusting” them is only setting yourself up for future disappointment when they get in office and start veering to the left after your vote isn’t important to them any longer.

“Is Rush living paycheck to paycheck? Is he worried that if he loses his job, he may end up sleeping on the street?
Is Rush worried that he lacks marketable skills? He's just lucky to have this current job and if he loses it, he might never work again?
Is Rush trying to establish a name for himself as a good soldier, and is he worried that some folks might start to call him a rabble-rouser?

Exactly why is Rush susceptible to pressure from ANYONE??”

I never stated any of those hypotheticals. Clearly, the insiders like their current power, prestige and fortunes. Newt represents a threat to that establishment as does the Tea Party.

Rush's coverage of the primary has clearly changed in favor of a neutral attitude towards Romney while quoting numerous hit pieces on Newt.

Rush admitted he has Romney calling him pressuring for more favorable treatment.

Are you saying this is all coincidence or are you implying that Rush is a willing party to this; hence, he is doing this willingly? (It would seem the admitted Romney phone call pressure would support my theory of duress.)

A secretary employed by a massive corporation is NOT the same as a secretary working for a small local business like Tom & Sally Electricians. The salary for the Corporate Secretary could easily be in excess of $250K.

Whatever. I know it’s difficult to be rational when it’s so much more fun for you to be hysterical, so whatever you need to tell yourself to get through the day. I don’t have any interest in making any rules, but whatever you feel necessary to post about me, go ahead, have fun. If it helps bolster your self esteem, call me whatever you feel necessary.

I typically only respond when directly addressed because I don’t feel the need to constantly engage in a ridiculous battle with people who don’t see the world 100% the way I do. I wished others would be so courteous, but I realize there are people who desperately need attention. I could care less about your opinions of me, Rush, Noot, Paul, Reagan, or the thread.
