If Romney starts using GHW Bush’s words saying “I have evolved”, and the people buy it, I’ll throw up.

Look for more of the south to go into Newt’s direction.

Fantastic strategy! When your candidate is loosing, dump on the voters! That’s about as valid as dismissing the SC results by calling the electorate backward, anti-Mormon hicks.

I’ll suggest an alternate perspective. The process, however painful, is working as it should. All remaining candidates are being forced to fight harder and harder. The is wisdom in that whole democracy thing.

One last question, just how many of these toilet or borderline toilet states will we need in the general election?

I think he needs he needs to come forward and give a straight forward address talking about his past indiscretions and talk about his finding redemption with God. Not too many people really know that in recent years Newt has connected with his faith in recent years.

Uh??? Where have you been?.....That's been said and done...and S.Carolina proved it's behind them as well...woman DID vote in numbers for Newt.

BTW just how much wallowing in Newts sins would satify you? Seems to me we're to forgive for the asking and are forgiven for doing so....Newt did that...and then went on to wallow in it giving people the answers they wanted...it's a done deal. Get with the program and stop pushing the oppositions talking points.

it was doubly disappointing to watch Michele Bachmann’s performance on Face The Nation this morning.

Nobody should be disappointed with anything she says now...she's in Romney's court and we'll see that in time.

Whoa....We must have a Romney guy in our midst.

I’m not against fair debate.

I’m against all out slander on the part of the media, DC republican Dan Quayle establishment to stifle free speech.

We will let you win Florida.. fine...no problemo... but from here on out... we get serious...

Newt is the man for our times. I knew this from the beginning but with the MSM false reporting of facts I was doubting Newt’s challenge last Summer...

I’ve been on board for going on almost 3 months. I have no remorse. I get teary eyed at each of his no teleprompter speeches.

I loathe the establishment of George Will and Ann Coulter MORE so ...yes MORE so than I do the liberal democrates out there....

Your kind has sold us out...and I for one am not going to sit back and let it happen without some fight back...

Newt speaks for me....If ROmney is the nominee with A FREE OPEN ONE ON ONE DEBATE WITH NEWT IN THE COMING MONTHS.. I WILL SUPPORT HIM...

BUT FOR NOW, I’M NOT GOING WITH YOUR PRECIOUS ROMNEY. NEWT SPEAKS FOR ME...

I AGREE WITH YOU!!!!!!

Sometimes a candidate talks big and then they crumble. In Newt is willing to take this debate to every state before the convention...then I’m on board... if NOT...we die...we simply as baby boomers die...

I don’t think he’ll do that...He knows his message is clear and that is makes sense...

In the end at a brokered convention...and I’m about to choke on my spit here...we entertain the idea of a Romney/Gngrich or Gngrich/ROmney ticket... I guess we do it...but we do it to defeat Obama.

Right now...my ideal pursuit of happiness duo is:

Newt/Sarah

or

Newt/West

I can live with Newt/Santorum and in fact would probably grow into loving that... since the two are great Americans...

PLEASE Newt..no matter what happens on Tuesday... don’t quit...

This is the case... this is the fight... winning the nomination is winning the presidency.

DON’T DROP OUT IF YOU LOSE FLORIDA....YOU’VE WON SC....

WE ARE WITH YOU!!!!!!!

I’m a Romney guy in as much as having my preferred candidates bow out (Perry/Cain) and finding Romney next on my list makes me a Romney guy.

I’m also very much not a Newt guy. I don’t believe in supporting non-executives for President. I think his ego is massive and dangerous. I think his personal history is a mess and would cast a shadow on the Republican / Conservative movement for years.

I understand why people don’t like their candidate being bashed. I’m sure die hard Romney fans take it personally as well. Both sides are hitting hard now, both sides are putting up ads that do not fact check out, both sides are putting up ads with speakers wish them to take them down, and both sides are getting personal. It’s politics.

I’m glad to hear that some folk will support the eventual nominee whoever it is. I’ll vote for Newt should he win it. I hope that I don’t have to but I will.

Still trying to figure out these conservatives who revealed themselves as Rinos. We have bought every one of Ann Coulter’s books and followed her faithfully over the years. No more. Her anti-Newt performances on Fox are loud, nasty and low class. Her fans have always been the cream of the crop, the most intelligent conservatives but now we will think twice before making her books bestsellers.

“Explain, how are South Carolina women so vastly different?” They are younger and more conservative.

My part of SC is a lot of "mature" men and women who are retired and conservative and we all went for Newt......SC women are true conservatives

Can you explain why women won't vote for Newt? Remember the 2nd and 3rd wives are adulterers also.

I do not believe the crap about women not voting for him. As a woman, I care more about how he can save the country for my heirs. Forget that talking point. We are not just a group of useless bimbos, we can figure out life also.
