He's playing this like a chess game, didn't really campaign in Iowa, did throw money at SC, threw a ton of money in NH, and threw even more money in Florida.
I've been screaming from the rooftop that we need a "National Primary Day" have all the states vote on one day. Before the Primary Day have a few debates and let the people vote.
If a Romney feels like spending every penny he has on all 50 states it is his money to blow. I still think the future of campaigns will be via grassroots and online groups like Free Republic.
So for tonight, I'm going drink some wine, watch Glee, watch anything but news networks.

Not that this stops people in Eastern time zone counties from leaking counts in progress - which may or may not be accurate. Though they tend to be reported as gospel whenever they favor the MSM's favored candidate. (It's "too early to tell" when the conservative is ahead, of course.)
But the state will not have any official numbers until the Panhandle polls close, and there are still over 15 minutes of voting time left.

This is a news site. Trying to black out news (or speculation, or estimates, or exit polls, if clearly labeled as such) is silly.
The same applies, in my opinion, to those requests about not posting the results of sporting events taking place on the other side of the world until the delayed broadcasts hit U.S. TV. To heck with that.
Anyone who wishes to remain in the dark is free to do so. But don't look at Free Republic, and expect everyone to refrain from reporting what's on the media, or providing links thereto.

I have never understood that. If I am not watching a game in real time I can't influence the outcome by shouting at my TV. Nothing matches the satisfaction of screaming "screen pass" (or what have you) and the coach takes me up on my suggestion and gets that 1st or a TD.
