TAMPA, Fla. — Mitt Romney rolled to victory in the Florida primary on Tuesday evening, according to early returns and exit polls, dispatching an insurgent threat from Newt Gingrich and reclaiming his dominant position in the race for the Republican presidential nomination.

“You know what? I think that, in the long run, replacing Obama with a paler Obama (Romney) with an R after his name could do more damage to the country than allowing Obama to be reelected, hopefully to trigger another Reagan revolution in 2016.

I WILL NOT vote for Romney. I held my nose and voted for McCain, and it won’t happen again. It sends the wrong message to the RNC.”

I hope you enjoy a couple more gay lesbian Supreme Court Justices FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

Can't punish them (Fox News) by not watching unless you have a ratings counter in your frontroom as a participant in a regular ratings survey.

So...watch to your heart's discontent....doesn't make a bit of difference, unfortunately.

Glock...I cannot help but remember that it only takes "A Few Good Men" committed to God to change the course at any time of His choosing......especially when all seems defeated....history has proven this time and again....and God is known to arrive at the last hour and never late.

We can hash this over time and again, and it's entertaining to do so as we try and call the plays, but in the end it simply isn't over yet...not even close.

And that's just how I see this race....it's not just an election it's good over evil being fought and that out of our sight.

Sad but true. The further north you travel in the Sunshine State, the further south you go.

I have personally met Mitt Romney and spoken with him face to face. He is a true gentleman and it is right for him to be the GOP nominee for President.

People really need to understand and realize that he has conservative values and wants to do the right thing for our country. He is not a liberal as Gingrich is trying to point out - the truth is that he is a conservative.

He wants to get this country back on the right track, stop the excessive spending in Washington DC, and reinvigorate the US economy.

If any of you ever had a chance to meet him you would realize that he looks you directly in the eye when he speaks to you and he speaks with a level of professionalism that garners tremendous respect.

That sends chills up my spine, gator. I’m bordering on tears at this moment.

Good grief. Is there really anyone that thought Romney would not take Florida? Newt and Santorum split the vote. So send your regards to Rick.

Romney is indeed going to be far more harmful than what we see with Obama....we have a chance to load congress and prevent Obama from doing his dastardly deeds....but with Romney he will use such deception and hide his real agenda, which he does now, that we won't have a clue what he's doing becuase it will all be deceptively presented.

So no, I will not be voting for Romney at all..ever...and prefer dealing with a known enemy then one like Romney you will never see his hands move til too late to stop him.

Well,..if Romney wants a unified convention, then he will need to commit to those issues dear to conservatives, thus reversing and repudiating previous decisions.

Here’s the thing though, he needs to win the general election.

Uh...you and I may see it that way...but the millions of Americans watching American Idol do NOT...

Wait, what? Those millions of Americans are paying TWICE what they paid for a gallon of gas at the end of the Bush administration. Have you bought a slice of round steak for your family lately? Milk's a buck more per gallon here. It's Jimmuh Carter days all over again.

Malaise.

Are you better off than you were four years ago?

From the FReekin rooftops! ARE YOU BETTER OFF THAN YOU WERE FOUR YEARS AGO?

The best you can hope is that the food stamp brigade won't give enough of a crap to take the free bus down to the poll to get their free smokes to vote themselves our income in return. Hope and change.

It's not over until we say it's over. and you and I will never say it's over.

God bless.

Sounds like you were snowed by a smooth talker. How do you explain his position on Obamacare, for example?

“Perhaps Newt just wasn’t conservative enough. That’s why McCain lost to Obama.”

REally?..you believe that? Perhaps McCain lost because he was perceived as old and uninspiring,..Obama was different and youthful.

I wish Rubio was a little older, and governor of Florida.

Using your logic, we should have voted for John Kerry and the Breck Girl in 2004; that way Obama would not be in the White House now. Wow! What logic!

Gawd, you people are acting like a bunch of teenage girls that didn't get the cell phone you wanted. Grow UP! This election is bigger than your egos!

Getting Obama out of office is so damned important that ANY republican will do - - The Democrats are smiling big right now, they figured how to divide the republicans and many of you took the bait, line, pole, boat and pier.

You might like to also know that Rick Santorum is also a true gentleman and I have met him as well at a recent convention out here in California last year.

Another congressman that looks you in the eye, shakes your hand and speaks directly to you with professionalism.

He would be an excellent choice to be Vice President in my opinion.

Really.

I’d rather have a conservative congress getting things done while we keep Zero distracted with golf tournaments, Hollyweird visits, and American Idol guest appearances.

Romney will just be a busy body, getting into everything he shouldn’t ...

You are about to learn the hard way, why so many of us will never support Romney.

He has never been Conservative, and he has always pandered, lied about his real intentions and especially caters to Democrats.

He always has, and he always will. You are a sucker for believing your own rhetoric and America will now see another Obama term. Romeny can't win against them.

I am now going 3rd party, or I will just stay home and dig a bunker to withstand the chaos ahead. The only thing that could possibly change my mind will be a brokered convention and if we can reverse this insanity.
