Lets face it, Santorum is a "least worst" choice for conservatives.
“I guess winning Missouri is easy when Gingrich isnt even on the ballot.”
Ok, fair enough. Tell us how Newt did in the states where he WAS on the ballot.
He sure was missing today. He must have been crying in his beer
I think Newt can win despite his baggage, so long as he doesn’t revert back to his tendency to self-destruct with some crazy new idea or some terrible gaffe.
Gingrich BLEW OFF Missouri as unimportant. Santorum took the time and $1000 to get on the ballot.
I’m from MO. Gingrich disrespected us. Santorum will take the caucus in March due to Gingrich’s attitude toward MO.
Let's Honor, Not Stretch, the Buckley Rule

I reject the conventional wisdom that Rick Santorum could not win the general election, because I believe he represents the best contrast to Obama and is the least vulnerable to attack, among other reasons. I have varying concerns about the other candidates, but I respect their respective supporters and realize that some of them even believe their candidate is the most conservative of the group, though I disagree. I will support whoever emerges as the Republican nominee, but I do not apologize for supporting Rick Santorum.
Ain’t none of ‘em worth a damn!
BTW, based on polls (LOL) people who identify themselves as conservatives are over 60% of the electorate. Just saying....
I’m from MO, too, and I think it’s wise to conserve resources and not bother with us since it counted for jack squat. We weren’t dissed, our state congress screwed up. If you want to count, go to your local caucus next month.
I may caucus, and if I do I’ll go with a candidate that made the effort to be on our primary ballot. I won’t for the guy that took a cruise instead.

Santorum voted to confirm Sonja Sotomayer..heck, even McCain voted NAY.
What Newt accomplished as Speaker of the House exceeds anything ever done by Santorum or any other candidate running; btw, you do know that Santorum endorsed the very liberal Sonya Sotomyer as even McCain and Thompson voted nay.
Also, being named Porker of the Month as Santorum was is quite an accomplishment for a “conservative” he was cited along with Hillary Clinton and Lieberman. Would be happy to provide you with the link and details if you wish.
Santorum lost his seat in 2006...Obama took office in 2009. The earliest Sotomayer could have been nominated was 2009, Rick never had a chance to vote on her.

And Newt endorsed Dede Scozzafava. Who cares? Everyone has to make some crappy endorsements sometimes...Palin had to do it for McCain. Newt still believes in man-made global warming and is soft on illegal immigration...two of the most important issues of the day.
Your link shows nothing...but it doesn’t matter. Santorum could NOT have voted to confirm Sotomayer. His last day in the Senate was January 3rd, 2007.
I will ccp the info for you. It is under nominations. Sonja Sotomayor was nominated for the circuit court of appeals by BILL CLINTON (before Obama nominated her for the scotus) Sotomayors confirmation during the Clinton presidency was slowed down by the republicans in the senate BUT your man Little Ricky did vote for her! that is a easily confirmed fact.
