LIVE DEBATE THREAD (Is it too early to start?)
Unless Newt Gingrich gets the nomination get ready for four more years of Marxist Obama. Barry the Marxist will absolutely destroy Obama-light Willard in a general election and the media would tar and feature Santorum so bad he would probably quit the race. Only Newt has the balls and know-how to take on the Maxist and cut him to shreds.
I’m really getting sick of Ron Paul in these debates. He was particularly nasty to Santorum tonight to the point of being personally insulting.
Santorum was in the Senate and he made a lot of votes for various reasons. that’s why govenor’s are the best candidates, they don’t have to defend votes in the senate or house.
The last part of the debate about foreign policy was the most uplifting when the 3 real candidates agreed with each other about Obama’s horrible foreign policy.
I note that Fox has JS to say about this debate already.

Actually, this CNN crew doesn’t offend me that much because they don’t don’t pretend to be objective. Donna Brazil would admit she’s a Democrat operative. Erick Erickson would admit he’s a Republican operative. And David Gergen would admit he’s a squish.

You can't be serious. Santorum supporters have been foaming at the mouth and written me some vile and extremely abusive posts, in response to rather innocuous and reasonable comments I made about how Santorum comes across to the average person. No Newt supporters have I seen yet, who approach that level of nasty.
We have two good conservatives in this race, and isntead of going after the liberal, Romney, there seems to be an effort to destroy a good conservative, Santorum. Why? If either Santorum or Newt get it, I’d be ok with it. I support Santorum, but I don’t see a reason to denigrate Newt to elevate him.
Is it merely a coincidence that both Romney and Obama have those completely vacant, empty (and at times EVIL) look in their eyes?

Why is it that I can't remember anyone seriously saying that about Rick Perry? It was all jokes about his honest reactions to not being the best debater.

Amen. We all need to rally behind Newt. We can guide him to victory.
I support Newt and want him as our president.
Now, again, WHERE IS THE ACTUAL PROOF that Obama can wrek ANYONE in a debate? He’s a stuttering fool with a record of destroying America to defend.
Show me proof of his invincibility debating anyone. Thats my point. I’m not a RS guy. But this ongoing chicken little fear is backed by nothing but repetition of a meme created by libs that many are buying into.

So this "good chunk" of Santorum supporters was never really conservative, was it?
Just got home.... how did Newt do? I noticed at work - a very conservative outfit, Rick Perry votes here - Mittens making eyes at Santorum like he was Giselle Bundchen or something.
Some liberal has control of our remote control, haven’t figured out who it is yet.

I haven’t seen any of that, and I’m sorry if you have been treated that way. I spend the majority of my time in Santorum threads, and that is what I see. I’m not saying it’s all Newt supporters; it’s the same, general group of posters.
Thanks for the optimism. It’s not misplaced. Obama has no issue to run on. He’s been successful at nothing and disastrous at everything.
