I beg all of us here on Free Republic to STOP the dogpiling on Sandra Fluke.
No joke.
Don't follow Rush's bad example.
Name-calling will get us NOWHERE.
Remember the much better example of the woman at the well, and how Jesus dealt with her. That's a MUCH better way to behave.
The woman at the well had much more integrity than Sandra Fluke.
While calling her a slut and a prostitute is not a good idea...she certainly needs to be held accountable for the lies she has told (pretending to be a 23 yr old coed), and for purposefully setting out to attack the first amendment rights of religious groups

The woman at the well was a Samaritan, and Jews were not supposed to talk or have any dealings with Samaritans, as they were seen as a mongrel people of mixed blood. This Fluke woman is clearly a staged witness for their cause. It costs tens of thousands of dollars to attend Georgetown Law school each year, and yet she says that she cannot afford comdoms! Even the poor know that you can get all the FREE condoms you want at the county clinic, no questions asked. This is a sham and a shame..............
Rush is playing this back on the Libs with their own Alynski tactics and its working like a charm. Poking fun at them and piling on the ridicule makes them stop and think the next time they want to gen up a fake issue.

I don’t know why Rush is going this route - I kept shaking my head when I was listening to him today while driving around.
There’s no joke in $1000 for birth control pills - apparently the college plan stinks and that’s how much they cost....take it up with the insurer - plenty of plans have cheaper rates.
Women take birth control pills year round - it’s not like she’s necessarily tramping about because she’s using them.
The joke is $1000 a year in condoms!
Condoms are birth control - children are shown from an early age to place carefully....
If he ‘spun’ it like she goes through $1000 per yr on Condoms????

The comment Rush made was a measured comment intended to draw attention to an issue but its very doubtful he feels any personal animosity toward Fluke.
I don’t take this stuff personally enough to spend a lot of time thinking about or even caring about Fluke. The issue of paying for others contraception is important.
A harlot is a harlot especially one who is trying to take down His Holy Church and publicly speaking about her promiscuity. Her actions are not merely political, she is trying to force the Catholic Church to submit.
Please don’t confuse and conflate the woman at the well of Sychar (John 4) with the woman caught in adultery (John 8).
The former received a word of judgement “the one you have is not your husband, you have spoken rightly” while the latter received a word of pardon AND admonition “neither do I condemn you—sin no more.”

I agree with your title but perhaps for a different reason - this woman is being used by Team Obama and its media cheerleaders as PURE political theater. Nothing else. The more vitriol, attention, etc. she gets the better for them, because it means something that will be in the headlines and that will displace rising energy prices, high unemployment, stealth inflation, wealth redistribution through artificially low interest rates, a foreign policy designed to screw America’s allies, etc., etc., etc. She is almost surely a willing accomplice in all this, but a huge focus on her and an outpouring of over-the-top venom is JUST what Team Obama is looking for.
She’s a 30 yr old feminazi third year law student.
