A flower company is the seventh advertiser to pull its ads from conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh's radio program in reaction to his derogatory comments about a law student who testified about birth control policy.

ProFlowers said Sunday on its Facebook page that it has suspended advertising on Limbaugh's program...

I really can’t see some fanatic liberal buying flowers for anyone.

They're far more likely to pick them in a park, or steal them from some neighbor's garden.

Sturm Ruger,Smith & Wesson, Bushmaster etc. should step up and fill the void of Rush advertisments.

It really was a rather vague “apology.” And the entirety of Ratdom was getting ready to crucify Rush on the issue and now that thrust has fallen flat on its face.

Birth control pills don’t protect you from STDs including HIV. So is Fluke advocating unprotected sex? Condoms are cheaper and offer better overall protection for Ms Fluke. Someone should bring that up.

Rush made some of these companies.

I’ve done a little business with these flower folks, and am a Carbonite subscriber because of their advertising on Rush’s show. I had plans for some work with Legal Zoom as well.

Guess I’ll check out some of Carbonite’s competitors. A shame, they’ve built a nice product.

My posting on proflowers Facebook page was this:

Really ProFlowers? Americans are having to pay more and more for gasoline and you’re upset that one of your clients disagrees with government-subsidized sex practices? You haven’t felt the bullet wound in your foot yet.....but you will....

I sent ProFlowers an e-mail yesterday to protest their decision to pull out of Rush’s show. I pointed out that unlike most of the people who were complaining about Rush, I was an actual customer with an active purchase history. I had purchased from them partly because I wanted to support the talk radio shows I listened to. But that was ending as of now because of their decision.

They replied with a generic, canned answer saying that they advertise in a variety of markets, that the opinions of the talk hosts don’t reflect theirs, and that they just want to “delight” their customers, blah, blah, blah.

When Rush did his original calculations he figured as though the balance of Fluke’s claimed $3000 budget was made up of condoms, and to consume that many condoms it would have required her to get, er, laid more times a day than the average prostitute does.

I was wondering, what happened to the guy’s responsibility. Shouldn’t he be the one who pays for his condoms?

“Chicago politics...strong arm and threaten American companies to tow the line and do what they say OR ELSE....you WILL have tax problems, you will spend millions defending your employment policies, your local tax code, your personal tax form, your place of employment, building codes, fire regulations,HEALTH ISSUES.....it’s what they do.....” it’s why they have to be defeated!

Well as I see it, it’s Obama’s “Armerican Dream”....He has about completed it and soon there won’t be elections as we knew them.

—And the entirety of Ratdom was getting ready to crucify Rush on the issue —

But why would an apology stop them?

And the apology takes the power out of what he said. I would like to see the slut meme continue forward. It’s time we call this “free contraception” thing what it is. And the religious organization thing is only part of it. The government has no business telling companies WHAT they have to insure regarding their employees. It’s none of the government’s business.

At least, that is how it would be in a non-socialist country.

These are not normal times. Obama and his henchmen smell blood in the water and will go after Rush in ways not seen before. They would like to take him down before the election and attacking Rush helps energize the Dem base. I am sure the Dems see this as a once in a lifetime opportunity to get him. And the Rep politicians are distancing themselves from Rush whose apology has just added fuel to the fire.

The next salvo will be to get him off the air. Look for NOW and the feminazis to go after him hammer and tong.

Chicago seems to be mainly a haven for banks, from my observations in exploring its job market.

He should have apologized only for imprecise choice of words. She’s not a whore, she’s a common thief. When you pay a whore, you at least get sex. This THIEF is stealing our money to finance her own casual sex.

Rush should (and probably will) beginning advertising their competitors for free. He will make them pay, I think. Anyone remember Snapple?

I'm waiting to find out who is competing with Carbonite so I can switch

I agree - post 800 numbers of all of these advertising balers and then flood them with phone calls advising them that we will no longer patronize them.

Oh, there is still much to be said about sluts, whether or not Fluke personally qualifies to be one. She raises suspicions, but really if her personal sex life were as pure as the driven snow and she only took the Pill (an inexpensive item) out of a belief in “being prepared,” she’s still advocating on behalf of actual sluts and sluttery. This is a technicality. The Rats cannot nail Rush now on that technicality.

That’s pretty much how his vague apology reads, as I see it.
