Miami Gardens teenager Trayvon Martin was suspended from school in October in an incident in which he was found in possession of women’s jewelry and a screwdriver that a schools security staffer described as a “burglary tool,” The Miami Herald has learned.
Trayvon, who claimed that an unnamed friend had given him the jewelry, was not disciplined because of the discovery, but was instead suspended for graffiti, according to a Miami-Dade Schools Police report obtained by The Miami Herald.

I have been piecing together a timeline and the relevant locations for that night. I plan to put up a more detailed version, probably in a vanity, and including sources later, but here is some food for thought - and I’d be interested in any thoughts (or corrections) on this:
Zimmerman first saw Martin near the clubhouse, which is about a 3-4 minute walk from the house where Martin was staying. Zimmerman’s call lasted more than 4 minutes - more than enough time for Martin to have gotten home at a normal walk.
The shooting occurred no more than 3 and a half minutes after Zimmerman hung up the phone, and possibly as long as 7 minutes after he first saw Martin. In that time, Martin could have walked home twice, and run there three or four times.
Yet the shooting occurred 200-250 feet from where Zimmerman parked while on the phone with police - maybe a 45 second walk.
Obviously, we still do not know exactly what happened. Zimmerman may have committed a crime. Obviously, we know he left his car and walked some distance.
But when I try to come up with the simplest explanation for these times and locations it just doesn’t add up to Martin being “chased” for seven minutes, or even three, while trying to get home.
And that is what’s bothering me right now. How about you?
He was a good boy, he knew who his father was.
According to the police report, Martin was 6'0" and 160 lbs., and Zimmerman was 5'9" & no weight recorded.
Not necessarily in the same weight class, but 'out-reach' is usually better than 'out-weigh'.
Well, he does look 6'3''.
Reports say Trayvon was 6' 2", played on the football team. Zimmerman said he knocked him over with one punch and started banging his head on the ground repeatedly, despite his cries for help. Based on that, the answer is yes.
Take a look at where the local 7-11 is versus where the clubhouse is. The only one I found was about half a mile away in the other direction.

As Obama said on multiple occasions to leaders of small countries (there is a Danish vid on YouTube showing many of them), Trayvon punched above his weight!

I was that size exactly at that age. I was tough as nails and fearless. I’d have ripped a lot of bigger men up. In fact I was in one nasty locker room fight about then with a wrestler that was vicious, we were both trying to maim each other.
I think all that was done was they raised the gamma till the image was much lighter, and less sinister looking.
I downloaded the first image and used Irfanview to raise the gamma a lot and it looks identical to the second image then.

I worked 25 years in uniform, behind the bars of NY State prisons, so I know what can be used as a weapon. Screwdrivers were considered contraband.
The kid was found in possession of the screwdriver and multiple pieces of jewelry, mostly rings and earrings while on school property. He told the security guard that an unnamed friend had given the jewelry to him. My argument was that nobody bothered to confiscate the screwdriver or the jewelry, and turn it over to the cops to see if any of the rings, etc., had been reported stolen in a burglary. Instead they discipline him for graffiti on a locker. Carrying a screwdriver and a bunch of jewelry he couldn't prove was his, was okay, but they busted him for writing on a locker.
