“Now, let me be clear: I am not defending George Zimmerman in any way. Right now I think he’s most likely guilty,” Glenn said.

“Let’s pray the system takes its course before some lunatic decides to listen to the words of The Black Panthers and try to get an ‘eye for an eye’.”

Glen Beck has a stir stick almost as bad as Jesse Jackson’s stir stick. We used to listen to Glen, but havn’t for a good while. He has become too full of himself.

I know if someone were following me, I would get out of dodge asap. I would try to lose them and maybe call 911 to report a susicious person following me and a need for help. I would not confront them as they could be on drugs, drunk, crazy or carry a gun. They could be a wacko Twitter follower of Spike Lee or Roseanne Barr who want to terrorize me because they are leftists who like to be vigilantes. Know what I mean?

Beck has been Soros-compromised a long time ago!

Beck is now the poster child of how the communist threats work.

“You’re falling down on the job again, Mr. Beck. Stick to truth and objectivity and your ratings will do just fine...”

The theme for GBTV is “The truth Lives Here”. He seems to have forgotten that on this story. As someone else pointed out, he needs to take a deep breath, shut the heck up, and let the investigation take its course. Judging by comments on the GBTV and Glenn Beck forums, other GB listeners are also outraged by his knee-jerk reaction.

The Trayvon crusaders here are fond of posing questions, and trying to shift the burden onto Zimmerman. You alluded to something they can never answer:

If Martin felt threatened why didn’t he call the police?

I have a couple more:

Why didn’t Zimmerman just pull up alongside Martin in his truck if he wanted to confront Martin?

How did Zimmerman initiate the final confrontation when he couldn’t find Martin?

I could not believe what he said regarding Newt Gingrich about 3 days ago on his radio show. He said Newt Gingrich is the enemy of God. That is correct. Remember when he said if the tea party votes for Newt it must be racism because Newt is the same as Obama and it is better to vote for Ron Paul or Romney over Newt? He is truly off the deep end over Newt. A few months ago I heard him say “I don’t like him. I believe he has nefarious plans.”

Wow, that's more than just a little bit nuts. Granted, a certain amount of "imbalance" is entertaining (going all the way back to when residents of the London area would pack a Saturday lunch and go watch the mental-patient antics on the grounds of Bethlam Royal Hospital).

That analogy explains Beck's former popularity pretty well, but just as those folks at "Bedlam" found out, that stuff can go from amusing to profoundly disturbing in a heartbeat.

Glenn Beck is a self-serving creep.

I agree.

I really liked his book, Arguing with Idiots, but that was about it. Something happened to him. I’m not sure what.—

Leftist attacks and people distorting what he said and when he said something...

To me he jumped the shark after his big rally, I think it went to his head. I used to enjoy the humorous take on the regime he and his radio buddies used to have but his whole doomsday preacher persona is extremely annoying. He’s like Alex jones minus the screaming fits.

Ca’t watch Beck anymore and gave it up several months ago. Just goes off topic way too far and his online articles looks more like tabloid reporting...

Too bad he’s lost his focus.....it was good while it lasted...but Beck derailed himself.

I think Beck lost his mind after being ousted from FNC. All I hear from him now is lunacy.

Every time I watched his show, he seemed right on the edge of insanity. It became uncomfortable to watch. He reminded me of a cult leader, raving & ranting, just before he hands out the koolaid.

Apparently, Beck cannot see the hypocracy of his prejudging Zimmerman vs. the prejudgment of the Black Panthers. How will he feel if an assassin kills Zimmerman based on Glenn Beck's judgment of guilt? I'll bet he would shrug his shoulders & say, “Not my fault”.

Something happened to him. I’m not sure what.

I f he has gotten further imbedded in his church...that would explain it. They have some really freaky rituals and teachings that mess with the mind....and Beck was a bit off to begin with.

None of us should be trying this case on the radio or on Twitter from a thousand miles away.

Everyone needs to take a deep breath, shut the heck up, and let the investigation take its course.

***********

The problem with your approach is that the the Martin family has been trying this case in the media for weeks. If the people opposing the lynching of Zimmerman decide to “shut the heck up” after the lynching has begun, the lies will become established before the real truth comes out.

"Something happened to him. I’m not sure what."

Something about him I have never liked. I couldn't watch him when he was on FOX.
Maybe he fell of his tricycle when he was little.

Probably the threat of the old self-inflicted double tap to the back of the head.

"If Martin felt threatened why didn’t he call the police?"

Running then calling the police would seem to have been logical. IF he really felt threatened.

"How did Zimmerman initiate the final confrontation when he couldn’t find Martin?"

That is the big question. AFAIK this is the only account out there. From Zimmerman's father: ""He called the non-emergency number first, and they asked him where he was. Because he was at the rear of the townhouses and there was no street sign," Zimmerman said. Even though a dispatcher told Zimmerman not to follow Martin, his father says he continued walking to locate an address to give to police.

"He lost sight of the individual, he continued to walk down the same sidewalk to the next street so he could get an address for the police. He went to the next street, realized where he was, and was walking to his vehicle," Zimmerman said.

That's when Robert Zimmerman says Trayvon Martin walked up to George Zimmerman."
