WASHINGTON (AP) -- While the rest of us have to wait until June, the justices of the Supreme Court will know the likely outcome of the historic health care case by the time they go home this weekend.
After months of anticipation, thousands of pages of briefs and more than six hours of arguments, the justices will vote on the fate of President Barack Obama's health care overhaul in under an hour Friday morning. They will meet in...

Americans are too busy watching DWTS, March Madness, tracking Snooki's knock-up, and seeing racism behind every rock. We let it get to this point by allowing people like Pelosi, Franks and B. Rush to get elected, culminating in BHO, who has no background, no record, but "He's Kewl cause a Black President is Kewl!"
There is no announcement schedule. They announce decisions when they are ready. They announced 3 decisions for cases argued this term yesterday.
Do you think he will nominate strict constructionists/originalists?
Then why is June being circulated for this decision?
I know that riots can start over nothing, but I sincerely doubt we’ll have riots over the rejection of Obamacare.
Now, if gas hits $5- then you might see the gangstas, the occupiers and the tea partiers joining forces!
Another Friday news dump......which usually is NOT “good” news......I believe that they will Rule in Favor of Obamacare, and that the Fix is in, all along. The 3 days were for show, no more.

No Mittens will not probably not nominate strict originalists.....since he is not one himself.... I am sure Obama will nominate extreme left wing Marxist influenced jurist....moderates in sheepskin clothing to the court
A Romney nominee will at least be mainstream and not have Mao little red book tucked into his black robe....
Interesting and hopefully it will happen that way. Out of the lib justices, Sotomeyer actually sounds reasonable. Which is hard for me to wrap my head around. Wouldn’t it be a hoot if Sotomeyer is Obama’s Sandra Day O’Conner?
If only that were to be the case...major sigh.
This case should be a DROP KICK easy decision as it relates to the US CONSTITUTION...
It is NOT constitutional, and neither is another half of fed legislation over the past century.
Would love to see someone say so!

Thanka for starting this GRRRRRRREAT thread!
I’m flattered (extremely). Thank you. It turned into one of the most interesting with the opinions of FReepers. So many intelligent & knowledgeable people on this forum.
Ginsberg ruling for the constitution? Well miracles do occur but...in her case.....nah. She was trying to help the gubmint atty early on.
I guess the Sackett decision (a 9-0 smackdown of the EPA) got my hopes up that some of the libs might see the light when the government’s case simply doesn’t hold up. I look forward to the pretzel-logic opinions of those who think the federal government can force a citizen to purchase health care but not an electric car, limburger cheese, etc.
I wonder if the very act of trying to write such an opinion without sounding like a dunce or a shill might swing a liberal justice over to the “kill the bill” side.
I’d love to be wrong on the expected outcome of the Obamacare/Constitution Case, but don’t expect that this (or any of his OTHER over-reach) will EVER be un-done, save in a Second American Revolution, and/or, a second Civil War.
When I heard the Sackett decision and it was unanimous and there was another (I'm having trouble remembering..it was a property rights case IIRC) that was unanimous, my hopes didn't raise but my suspicions did.
Tough cases often take a while and in June they finish up and announce all the unannounced decisions for the term. This case is complicated and could be one of the ones announced in June as the term concludes.
Still as I said, the court has some reasons not to delay this decision and to get it out as fast as they can. So they could announce at any time. They have had the briefs for some time. The arguments are over. If the Justices are firm in the opinions, then it is just a matter of writing up the majority opinion and any dissents.
On the other side the left may accuse the court of rushing to judgement, if they don’t delay as long as possible. But the Justices probably understand the left will howl if the decision goes against the act regardless of when they announce their decision.
Maybe if the law is to be overturned the leftists on the court would want to delay the decision? But why? Will it help Obama to have this decision closer to the election? I think not.
